I'm having a contest. It has two phases and a prize for each.
Phase 1: Come up with an idea for a contest.
That's it. Come up with an idea for a contest and you win phase 1. Four stipulations:
1. It must be a contest that can be entered via the Internet. I.E. through a forum post or e-mail. No ten-step footrace from Alexandria to Berlin.
2. I am the sole judge of this contest.
3. You may not enter the contest (you'll see why in a second).
4. Entries will be taken on a "rolling admission basis" from now until I see an idea I like enough.
Phase 2: Win the contest that won phase one.
Rules and stipulations TBA.
Prizes: Both winners of phase one and phase two shall receive one game of their choosing available on Steam of a value of $20 or less. Not three $5 ones, just one game. You must have the Steam client to claim your prize, but that's a free download.
Don't know what else to say, so let the games begin. Any questions, I'll answer in the topic. When you're posting a submission, please label it as such.
The answer's obvious.
Whoever can draw the funniest Sonic series based standalone comic.
Figured that would be better than "whoever can draw the best portrait of GT wins" ...unless you want to do that.
How about a caption contest? For a bit of spice, let's scrub the speech bubbles clean in a whole page of Archie and see what reinterpretations we can get.
How about a MoFo poetry contest? Though Sam's idea is pretty cool, but I have absolutely no drawing talent at all XD
Also, I notice you've popped back into the fray.
I've never really been away - I've just been doing a lot of lurking for a while now, for various reasons that I'd rather not go into.
I was just trying to avoid anything to do with drawing, singing or any other talent where there might be a sharp schism between the forumers who have it and those who haven't.
