I actually meant what I said in the Bristol thread about C2E2. I know that there's over a year to go, but who can see themselves being in or being able to get to Chicago next year, and might be able to afford it?

If it was Atlanta, I would have put it in serious consideration, but Chicago? 'fraid not. v_v

Love to go, and see the convention and Chicago in general, but I don't see how its possible right now in my situation. Unemployment is killer.

Ironic, considering that I'd be foregoing another Dragon*Con to afford Chicago... :-/

How exactly is that Ironic? o.o

Then again, I've never even heard of Dragon*Con (Hell I've never even been to a convention before... I fail so much as a nerd...), so I have no clue...

Stacy and I are heavily considering Chicago's Comic Con next year. We just need to know a date so we can schedule the sommabish as far ahead of time as we can. But I see us there next year ^^

You find Atlanta doable but you've never heard of Dragon*Con? You surprise me.

And the con date's right there, Jin. How's that one for you?

Doing the ACEN this year, so will be able to do any con that comes up, really.

Depending on time and if we're still on lease at the time, our house has enough room to accomodate some houseguests for the visit.

Not worked out what cons go on here, though. Will have to investigate.

OHSNAP! A site already! Sweetness. *chizzitty checks it out*

A weekend. Might be hard to pull off but that's plenty-o freakin' time! Now all I need is pricing. This is definitely do-able.

Depending on our situation, we may not be there for the ENTIRE weekend run, but nonetheless, we will try. We'll more than likely have to get a room, and ... uh, not sure if we'll split room costs as we'll probably want to be on our own, since we rarely travel out on our own, even if it is an hour away.

>.>

<.<

Could change. Nothing against anyone. Just... alone. T'eehee.

Well, I live just outside Atlanta, which is why I made that comment XD

Honestly though, never been to a convention before, but sounds like they are made of awesome.

Oh, saw the link.

So basically it's NYCC in Chicago?

WIN. Sure it's over a year away, but I see no reason to skip it. *Strokes chin*

Living in Milwaukee, Chicago is very close. Hmm. I'll have to think about this one. I've always wanted to see what a con is like, but who knows how busy I'll be?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Chicago is definitely doable from Minneapolis. We'll have to see how busy I am next spring though. I'll be working the next two semesters on my big undergrad project, but maybe?

Not too far from me either. I think it's about an 8 hr drive. It depends on my funds and other meeting schedules but I'm penciling this in my calendar! It'll be a plus if we can do a small MoFo get-together XD

Hmmmm. Chicago you say? Next year, you say?

If I'm still in gainful employment at that time and my finances are favourable, I see no reason to prevent my presence there. >:3
