My laptop's adapter cord frayed and snapped and I'm posting this from a library. Just wanted to let you guys know so you know not to expect any of my devilish metal shenanigans! Trying to get it fixed but who knows how long that'll take to get a new one with my limited cash supply.

my sister's laptop had the same problem... i went to fix mine for 10 dollars and when i asked for the price on the power cord it was worth 35 dollars... 
why so expensive.
so we're sharing the same cord till we wont feel too guilty to buy it.
so i understand ...<hug> hope you get a new one.
