Eliteboard is going into a new testing phase as most code is in place. Post your suggestions, bug reports, opinions, etc. here.

I'd imagine sooner if people start going there and testing the place out, then posting here; Vec can't finalize anything if there are still bugs in the system nobody's found, after all.

But hiro, this is EB we are talking about. Not some third rate two-bit company like that of Microsoft.

Pull a web 2.0 on us and say it's in continual beta. :D

One thing I'd love to see is when you log in, it takes you to whatever you were viewing at the time, say an individual forum index, the main EB index, or a topic, ect. instead of the generic "Logged In" page.

Second, that would be pretty nice.

Yeah, probably, well I'm doing my part; I go there almost everyday, mostly Casino Night and don't really have any problems.

Rayzor=pillar of optimism!

However in my visits there, I haven't encountered any bugs or such so I'm no help in that regard.

Also a log out link next to the control panel link, like ezBarf has.

:? I am very optimistic, but I'm curious what you're saying I'm optimistic about because I don't think you talking about optimism to bugs as you never experienced them before either. Maybe you're saying I'm optimistic to the move, but I'm really not, I'm actually starting to think we'll never move. That's why I quit pointing to noobs about the EB because the move just doesn't seem to be ever happening. :(

I think he was being sarcastic since your post actually looks pessimistic (the way I'm reading it).

It's that or something even more obscure.

Yeah, probably is. I can sense sarcasm on the net sometimes but not all the time.:nn;

Ray's a pretty ptmistic guy. I don't see what sarcasm was where.

I'd explain it but then I find it's just not worth it. It wasn't sarcastic though.

...your post sounded optimistic to me, hence the funny little comment.

Eh, cool, I think I sounded pretty neutral myself, but whatever, I'm open to interpretation I guess. :p

ALL software is a continuous beta. Some versions are more stable than others. 🙂

Problem: I can't stay logged in on Eb when I'm using IE. When I log in, it goes to the "logged in" page, then when I go to another EB page, I'm logged out again. This problem doesn't happen in Firefox.

Looks like a problem with the ads.

But they never work anyway. 😀

Here's something I just noticed (it's not very imporant buuut) :

When you click on the "Control Panel / Register" link on the top navigation, while logged in, you are presented with an array of links to click (Forgot password?, Register An Account, Control Panel, etc.). But, if you look below the initial box there are the links, "Drafts List", "User Settings", and "Member Settings". These links are the same exact links you would see if you clicked on the aforementioned "Control Panel" link. Doesn't it defeat the purpose of the "Control Panel" link by having those links right below it?
