Allow me to explain. Basically, I've been talking with Rico for a while about the prospect of me heading over to the US to work with him, seeing as I've a bunch of skills the folks he works for could make good use of, and I'm unlikely to find as good an opportunity over here in UKland. So I'm going to move over there instead and have the fun of working with someone I'm already reasonably familiar with doing something relevant to my degree.

That's what this is all about.
