No, not really planning on calling it GMY. But I am asking, does anyone want to participate in a Group Mission to celebrate the changeover to Yuku from EZboard? It is semi-traditional to have one every time the board moves, after all.

Now I realize that some of you may have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll explain more in a minute. Some of you DO know what I'm talking about, and are probably like, "Why are you posting this here and not in the RP Guild?" That I'll answer right now: because GMs are also traditionally a special kind of RP open to the entire Mobius Forum community to add to and participate in.

For those of you new to the board since the last Group Mission we had, a Group Mission is an add-on story roleplay set in the Mobius Forum World - a fictional setting based on this board and its forums, as well as some of the wild and wacky things we do around here (newbie-eating? Stealing of shoelaces? Pillow Fortresses? Pretty Soldier Sailor Sickness?). But it isn't a digital world or anything like that - it's like a dimension of its own where people from other worlds can come to, many of them with special powers and abilities that set them apart from normal people - or as normal as the MFW can get! And the adventure begins, usually, in the capital city of the MFW - Sega City, home of the HQ Tower where the Admins and Moderators dispense justice and mold the world with the Figment Keys, artifacts of tremendous power that shape the MFW reality with the power of imagination. The ever-expanding city is a metropolis based on advanced technology that allows hovercars and clean-burning fuel, with beautiful parks and rivers crisscrossing the deep urban sections of the city. It is a city of heroes...a city of villains...a city of endless possibilities!

RPs can be started about the MFW at any time - but a Group Mission is a special, world-shaking event that often involves taking on a menace large enough to threaten the entire city, and a GM may only be started by an Admin or Mod (or by someone who has received permission to do so). In the past, villains have tried to steal the Figment Keys and assert control of the city, or to destroy it utterly and build on its ashes, or simply conquer it with the sheer power of pantyhose (...?!?). But the MFW is a world of balance, and just as there are forces that seek to conquer it for their own ends, it raises heroes from the forumers who fight to protect the city and by extension the entire world.

There are certain rules to any GM, which I'll set down here. Your character is usually a person with the same name or nickname as your board screen name, although it is okay to have a different name for your character. Taking myself as an example, I often roleplay as Tergonaut, the omni-suited superhero whose suit can transform to adapt to different situations, whose secret identity is Justin Hobbes, an amateur-archeologist who is the world expert on the ancient Segan civilization that existed prior to the current era. You may start off with only one character, but if you talk to me about it, then I'll allow additional characters to be added during the story as it goes along. You may certainly add to the story, but don't do too much control over the actions of other characters; it's okay to have them say things in response to your character's actions, and even move along the plot, but if there are major decisions that need to be made, then leave that to the owners of the characters to decide. Also, while many forumers (as regular citizens in the MFW are called) have unusual powers and abilities, for a GM, keep your characters in the power level range of "superhero." You don't have to have super powers to be a forumer, nor do they have to be attack powers, but keeping things about as strong as your average comic book superhero or anime martial artist is a good level that keeps things interesting without going too over the top (so no DBZ-style characters, no god characters, no characters who can power up to Super Sonic-esque forms). If you have a character you would like to use but is too powerful, you may modify the character to fit into the setting.

Now some of you may be still be wondering about Group Mission: Exodus, the GM I started and that we nearly finished on the Eliteboard. If anyone wants to continue or finish that, we can do so, but either way, I have a new GM in mind for this Yuku move. Aliens, ice, and starships are likely to get involved after a transdimensional shift that represents the Yuku move. You could say the adventure will be pretty cool.

Given my e-mail was probably what had you post this, you know I'm game. Already writing in my head how I'll manage to make the Bayfield trio relevant to things. I started some stuff I was enthusiastic about during GMI and am kind of disappointed it never panned out. I may be able to try again in a less epic/grand way.

Tempted to; it depends on what the actual story will be like. And as long as it isn't needlessly complicated, which I felt GME proved to be. That and it was on a board that didn't GO anywhere, soooooooooooo...

Actually, I might as well air my reservations now that I think about it: Backstory. I don't know the backstory of previous GMs, and I don't care to. Having to learn it all is, to me, not fun, and so if there are any references that get thrown out about it then I would be massively turned off. Also people rping with their characters where they assume others to know about them which just makes me go "...what?"

If it's relatively simple to begin with and has an interesting premise, I'll consider it.

I'll try to focus this in on the present rather than bringing up tons of history. Kudos for bringing that up, that may be a turnoff for others as well. I personally love delving into the history, but I was here for a lot of it during the EZBoard era, so it's a little more alive for me. The purpose of the MFW Info page is to explain different specific elements of the MFW, but it's not essential to memorize everything there to have a good time in a GM. Obviously I may still not succeed in catching your interest, but keeping it simple will be a goal for me so that any newcomers will quickly pick it up.

As far as characters go, it wouldn't hurt to reintroduce our characters with descriptions so that everyone at least knows what they look like.

GME WAS complicated - I was trying to make something epic to match the momentous occasion of the transfer to EB. It seems appropriate that both failed. If anyone wants to keep anything from that RP as canon for their character, I don't see any reason why you can't, but coordinate with people if you want to maintain relationships or familiarity with other players' characters.

Is the MF World encyclopedia still around? If it is, someone can expand the articles about the past GMs and just link them back in case people new to this (like me) can find out about them. I know I'd like to know more about the history behind the Sailorness GM, since it's now become a big part of out community.

I'm game for one if the premise is interesting. I should be able to participate more in this one since I won't have to worry about going back and forth between boards. That was the main reason I fell out of GME, because I always forgot about EB. What's the plan?

#4) No huge back history will be great. Yeah a few MAIN points that are constant in GM's can be brought to light, but nothing that will confuse newer players.

I'm not against the use of past references of past character relationships per se, as long as its done tactfully. If people are going to introduce something like that into a new GM, then explaining what it is and making sure it's utterly relevant to what's going on is essential, for me. I don't want a mass of detail that won't be important to the key part of the GM itself, whereas at the same time I don't want to be left in the lurch thinking "...huh?" when two players are interacting in a certain way in which they'd only understand and I haven't got a clue.

So yeah. If people could introduce past events like this, in the same way they'd introduce something new, I think it'd benefit anyone and everyone who'd want to be a part of the GM. Of course, people can still read up on all the backstory if they want, and maybe I am just being picky, but if things are kept relatively simplified, at least for the start, then I think at least the GM could get off to a running start.

My opinions could be a minority, though, I don't know. If I'm incorrect, don't feel you'd need to cater only to my whims. *shrugs*

Never been in a MFW campaign before. I have some ideas for a chara, I'll check back after reading up more on the history. If I think I'd fit in, I'll PM you Terg. ...just hope I don't run into any "Evil" Admins they scare me.

Thanks for all of the comments and enthusiasm; I am currently doing planning for the GM as well as working on materials to present along with the GM to enhance it. GM: Sailorness sometimes featured script-style use of modified Sailor Scout sprites to enhance the action; GM: Inferno began with a picture of a nuclear explosion and its own logo, as well as reference pictures of weapons used in the GM; heck, even GM: Exodus had its own logo. To that end, I would like to create pictures of various enemies, a logo, plan a soundtrack for the GM (this isn't as crazy as it sounds), and get some backgrounds that will be used to represent different areas in the GM. I want this to be as interesting as possible.

Meanwhile, feel free to send me your character profiles - for those of you who haven't done a GM before, this will help me offer suggestions to make your character memorable and balanced and otherwise help you create your character for the GM. For those who have, it'll help refresh me about your character and abilities, and perhaps can give examples for newer players of characters who work in the MFW setting. I'll provide a character sheet right now for use, but you may modify it however you need to as you account for your character's unique characteristics. I'll also provide an example character sheet using Tergonaut.

Power: Tergonaut wears the nanite-based omni-suit, which grants him several powers including flight via jetboots, the ability to 'nano-shift' parts of his body into tools or weapons or merely to reshape them for better aero/hydrodynamics, an energy blaster with explosive and stun settings, a visor with zoom and low-light vision, super strength (enough to lift a car, can hold up heavier things only for a limited time), protection from environment (including one hour of air to allow him short-term action in vacuum), and "impact screen" limited energy shielding to minimize damage from most attacks. The omni-suit does have limitations based on the number of nanites it has available and how much energy it has to power its systems. EMP forces the suit to lock up (though it does not harm the pilot or suit), and acid or other similar attacks can bypass the impact screens, although the screens can also be activated at an extra energy drain to temporarily allow Tergonaut to fly/swim through acid or lava without incurring damage. As a general rule, the impact screens can block initial attacks very well, but protection decreases with continued attacks.

Without the suit, however, Justin Hobbes is merely a mortal human with no supernatural powers

Strengths: Good with building/fixing machines, athletic and decently built due to a constant daily jogging regimen, excellent at piloting powered armor

Weaknesses: Has a secret identity to protect, absolutely refuses to take life, terminal cancer builds up inside whenever he becomes Tergonaut, hates and distrusts robots, cannot use magic or other supernatural forces and is negatively affected by such forces, and has bad luck with money, gets ill whenever he is teleported

Mini-Timeline: Came to MFW by accident in November 2001, was involved in several adventures (including GM: Sailorness, GM: Revival), transported back to his Earth in 2003, transported to the MFW in November 2004 after nearly two years and joined GM: Inferno

Personality: A clean-talking, clean-living kind of guy, Justin lives two lives and sometimes it shows in his personality. He is often casual and laid-back, inoffensive but with a good sense of humor, enjoying the thrill of action when it comes but not afraid of the quiet of the workshop or garage where he can often be found tinkering. But there are times when things get serious and he becomes almost grim, an intense young man on a mission. His strong sense of justice was developed on the hard streets of St. Louis, and it continues to serve him as he loyally protects his friends and all law-abiding citizens in his various lawkeeping roles. It is almost like a dual personality, one to represent himself as Justin Hobbes, and the other more the side of Tergonaut, though both share the same standards of avoiding swearing or any form of drugs.

Though he trusts some with his dual identity, he is very zealous of protecting it and is willing to be dishonest to do so. He is in a strange sort of denial about his cancer, acknowledging it yet refusing to take any form of treatment for it beyond monitoring its growth and progress. His deep grudge against robots comes from an incident in his teens that convinced him robots are soulless tools with the potential for killing. And as good a worker as he is, he somehow always manages to bungle in the finances department, leaving him desperately scrambling to pay his rent each month to his landlady RedRenamon.

Miscellaneous Notes
Secret Identity
Justin Hobbes is also Tergonaut and Matt. Many people may know Justin and Tergonaut, but not know that they are the same individual. Usually people who know that Justin and Tergonaut are the same person also know that Matt is Tergonaut's original real name. The current list of people who are aware of Justin Hobbes's secret identity is: Vector, True Red, Mobius TetherBlood, Gingersnap, Inirikooc, CyKairus, and Adara. This list is subject to change as time goes on. If you feel your character should know Tergonaut's true identity, then contact me (Tergonaut) and I'll discuss it with you.

Alternate History
To protect Tergonaut's true identity, Vector and Tergonaut have created an alternate history for Justin Hobbes. It follows the same basic outline as the real Mini-Timeline, except that Justin Hobbes is an "amateur-archeologist" from the planet "Thrae" where being an archeologist means fighting robots and digging through the rubble of an ancient civilization. This cover story explains his fighting and mechanical skills while avoiding the implications of his coming from the same Earth as his arch-nemesis Georgia Stahlmansche.

Quick question, that most likely won't apply to most people, but about where in the various timelines will this take place, since I know that the Lodge RP is only cannon for a given value of canon, but I'm just debating whether or not to use Crimson, or to go for a different character...

Mini-Timeline: Raised in an orphanage, Craig was not the best kid in the world nor was he the most popular. Growing up and seeing fellow kids being adopted, yet remaining caused him untold aggrivation and despairation. At the age of 8 he had inadvertantly hospitalized a young boy in a flash of fury and it was this act which sealed his fate as being unadoptable. For the next 10 years he remained, attempting to gain favor and redemption by doing odd jobs about the place. The satisfaction and praise he recieved for such duties warmed his heart and gave birth to the lackey he would later become.

Upon being released from the orphanage he ended up in Sega City and soon established himself as a lackey aiding the admins and mods at all time, becoming suprisingly popular, too. During this time he formed brief crushes on Sailor Shyness and Sailor Modesty, neither of which lasted long or bore any satisfaction. He also maintained a long running friendship with Cookirini, who's magic occasionally caused him problems.

During Group Mission Herland he grew close to one of the invaders who were trying to take over the city. Alas, as would be Bayfield luck, it was Mobius Tetherblood in disguise. Poor Craig.

He had returned to his orphanage two times in his life, both at the summoning of his evil alter-ego, Stressed Bayfield. Once at 17 when Stressed had an epiphany regarding their unique relationship. Craig shot and killed Stressed during that encounter, though next to no one knows this to be a truth. However, Stressed was able to reform, claiming it impossible to kill a part of yourself. Upon his return, three years later while Craig was 20, they met again and though the ending to the encounter is unknown, Craig has not shown up at all since. At the time there was a terrorist attack going on and there was no time to investigate. Up to this point, Craig has been missing for three years.

Personality: Craig is a rather timid and shy person, easy to terrify and quite vunerable, given the dangers Sega City has to offer. He's an utter failure in love and relationships, often falling prey to a curse of everyone he has ever loved ending up being a guy. Despite his apparent weakness and uselessness, he has a heavy determination to please and an unwaivering respect for the admins and mods, of whom he serves as a lackey. Has a tendancy to deal with terror by making bad jokes and cynical comments.

Power: Unknown. During Group Mission Inferno he seemed to possess several abilities he had never possessed previously. He was able to teleport, move through objects, remain unseen to anyone he chose not to appear before. It was heavily implied he was a spirit with no form, this was never confirmed.
Strengths: Stealth
Weaknesses: He is unable to block attacks from psionics.
Mini-Timeline: While Craig was growing up, he dreamt. He wished. He longed. During his years he brewed a desperate need for love and attention, a sincere want to be everything he felt he could never be. Somewhere in that longing an entity was born. Stressed Bayfield.

During his younger days, Stressed was an imaginary friend to Craig naming himself "Tyler Dawn". However, when another orphan was bullying Craig, Stressed leapt into action and retalliated, hospitalizing the boy and putting a permanent black mark on Craig's name. Unable to deal with the reality of what he had done, Craig panicked and locked his other self deep away and swore to be a good person.

Sealed away for almost a decade, Stressed became angry and spiteful towards the one who had created him and when the stress of the world finally became too much for Craig to handle he was able to burst free as a Mr. Hyde styled alter-ego, now going by Stressed Bayfield. He maintained this for some time until he was able to seperate his personality from Craig's body. It is still uncertain how he was able, though Stressed himself seems to know and has often taunted Craig with the knowledge, expecting him to ponder it more deeply for reasons unknown.

As mentioned above, in 2002 he was killed during a face off which he lost.

In 2004 he somehow resurfaced and challenged Craig once again in the same venue. Once again goading him about all of the secrets regarding their relationship which the lackey was too lazy and stupid to have worked out. Only Stressed knows what happened at the end of that confrontation, but it is the last anyone had seen of Craig.

Since his rebirth he seems to have gained much power, existing as a ghost as far as anyone is concerned. He has also become a darker and more enigmatic character, holding his cards close to his chest and only appearing in short planned strikes.

During the Group Mission Inferno he stalked Camden Bayfield for similar reasons, occasionally appearing to antagonize her and hint at his plans. During the mission he had also encountered Vass Knight who was the only one capable of harming him and seemed to know what he was planning and was very adamant on not allowing him to advance his schemes.

Due to this stalemate, it has been 3 years and he has been watching and waiting in the shadows, preparing for a change in the game which would give him an advantage.
Personality: Cruel, selfish and enigmatic. Stressed has never taken to friendship and sees no reason to indulge on it. As he needs no sleep or food, he has a strong focus when it comes to the things he wants and extreme patience. He is cool and calm in normal situations, however he loses it all when something unexpected makes a situation fall out of his control.

Weaknesses: Inexperienced and unable to control her powers when they present themselves.
Mini-Timeline: Camden was born is the Pretty Soldier Sailor Sickness back in the early days of the post-DWB Mobius Forum World.

She began life as an alter-ego of Craig, at one point even being trapped as herself in Craig's body for several months due to a magic spell gone wrong. After this event she decided that she had enough with the confusion of being a female version of Craig and attempted to forge a personality of her own, moving to the designated Sailorness District and waitressing at the bar.

During her time at the Sega City Lodge, however, she engaged in a brief romance with Terrornaut which had shattered her fragile heart into pieces when she left her in the middle of the night leaving only a letter of apology and a sadness in her heart. She keeps the letter with her to this day.

As a waitress she made friends with Sailor Orange and the two of them set up a detective agency with Sailor Evil tagging along. The place was not long for life and soon closed down.

Returning to her boring life, she eventually broke the mundanacity when Craig disappeared. She took it upon herself to find him and was caught up in the Group Mission Inferno incident. There she became romantically involved with Vass Knight who sensed great psionic potential within her and seemed to have an alterior motive to the pairing. During the mission there were times when she was unable to contain the energy within her, especially at times of heightened stress. After the mission she joined the special forces agency, SONIC, which Knight belonged to and remained involved with him, being trained to use her powers and engage on missions with him. She has remained there for 3 years.
Personality: Camden is a rather serious woman who seems to have one mission in life. Not be Craig. She had his full personality upon contracting the Sailor sickness and has made it her life goal to forge a personality of her own. She does so well, but at times the original personality bubbles to the surface reminding the world of who she truly is. A sidenote should be that she's hopelessly romantic and ever infatuated with Terrornaut, even after he tried to take over the world and even after getting involved with another guy.

Okay, I'm going to say now that I probably won't bother joining the RP. Character profiles is all well and good but for me its like too much information being thrown at once and for me it isn't fun having to read and learn it all like this. I guess I just prefer it when character feel like fresh blanks and they're described throughout the course of the rp itself, like Mobius Rising. I'm probably just being a nitpicky bastard and everyone else likes it like this. I don't know.

Possibly, Pach, but I actually meant for people to PM me the profiles so that I could review them - not in the topic itself. It's fine, no biggies, it was my fault for not making that clear, but I don't really want or intend people to have to read everyone's character profiles - I'm the only one who really needs to know what your characters are capable of doing, to take into consideration for the GM as well as for general balance. If people have privacy issues about that for some reason, they can still post them here, just don't expect everyone to read them.

Crimson: I'm going to start this RP with a dimension-jarring event that will make it possible for Crim to be back in action despite his current situation. I'm doing the same thing for other players who are faced with similar situations, even though they aren't necessarily part of the lodge chat RP. This GM will take place in 2008 of whatever month and day I finally get it started on, so if you want to stay strict to what you've already done, go ahead, but for GMs I see no reason to not use Crim if you want to use him.

Power: Kayla has the same powers as any anthropomorphic hedgehog. She has a decent top speed, though no where near as high as Sonic. She can also utilize the Super Spin, but it tends to be rather weak due to her only having one spine. Typically, she tends to use her fusion cannon in battle. If she is simply in a non-serious fight, she often uses her tennis racquet. She also has the ability to shift between anthropomorphic hedgehog to the common cardinal.

Dead End, being a Minicon, has a variety of powers. Primarily, he can shift between his robot mode and his moon alt mode. He generally relies on his own fusion cannon for battle. In moon mode, he can hover for an infinite amount of time. Being a robot though, he can only use so much energy before he has to recharge.


Strengths: Kayla is a well educated hedgehog, and she will do anything to protect those who gain her trust.

Dead End is much the same, and his ability to havor make him a serious contender on the battlefield.

Weaknesses: As mentioned before, Kayla's Super Spin is weakened considerably due to only having one spine. If she becomes very angry, she can go into berzerker mode and attack friend and foe alike.

Dead End can be a bit too triggerhappy. He, like Kayla, is coolheaded most of the time, but he will fly into berzerker mode if angered enough.

Mini-Timeline: Kayla has been in the Mobius Forum World for three years. She came after the major group missions and GME is her first. Dead End originally hailed from the planet Cybertron and accidentally came to the Mobius Forum World through a warphole. Kayla met Dead End in her travels, and he decided to tag along with her. The two are close friends and would give their lives for each other.

Personality: Kayla is a bright and cheerful girl. Even though she sees the good in things most of the time, she is a realist and can also see the bad in situations as well.

Dead End is a quiet and reserved Minicon. He generally doesn't speak to anyone unless he knows them personally. He is rather untrusting, and it takes a lot of effort for him to consider a person a friend. Once he knows that a person is a friend, he will gladly give his spark to save him or her.

Power: Silver carries with him at all times his twin fireswords. Both are Hand-and-a-half style, allowing him to fight with Either one or both swords depending on the situation. Silver can will these swords to light on fire at any time they are with him. These swords also provide Silver with a range of medium and high level firepowers. The first of these is an immunity to fire, active as long as Silver is in possesion of the swords, as well as a fireball he can form and throw with his hands. With one sword drawn, Silver can make a stronger fireball, as well as control nearby flames, combined creating a somewhat guideable attack. With both swords drawn, Silver has access to the firebeam, a huge column of flame, as well as the firestorm, which rains fire from the sky. Additionally, when he was created, two other souls were createdand stuck in his body. Silver has the ability to let either of these control his body, although he only trusts one to do so, and to float around in soul form when not in control.
Strengths: Aforementioned Firepowers And Sword Skills, Soul Switch, "Ghost"ing
Weaknesses: Although he will not be hurt by fire, he is still effected by heat. After a fight in which Silver is forced to use multiple fire-based attacks, he will often collapse from heat exposure. Additionally, His Firebeam takes a huge amount of concentration and mental energy to perform, often taking Silver out of a fight for a few minutes after using it. While simply in soul form, everything takes a huge amount of effort to do, and so will only last a minute or so before he has to return to his body.
Mini-Timeline: Created by Eggman in an alternate Sonic Universe (Ask SX for the story, or dig up the old topic in Carnisle), where he came to meet Teal and SX. Came to the MFW in a temporal accident, posssibly involving one of Teal's experiments. Has since lived in MFW, hopping from area to area. Lived at the Lodge for a while.
Personality: Tends to be somewhat carefree, but can get very serious or emotional at times. A generally likeable guy.
Misc: He was created to be another of those "ultimate lifeform" types, but the process was unfinished. He's smarter than he lets on, and doesn't age, but that's all the process got for him.

Power: When Silver gives him control, Silver's Fireswords change into Much Longer and thinner lightswords. These, in turn, give Light different abilities.First, he can create un-damaging balls of light that can temporarily blind if stared directly into. He also can create the Sunbeam, a radiation-based attack that will adversely affect anyone unfortunate enough to be hit by it. His final move is flare, which releases light of huge intensities in all spectrums, Causing Long term Eye problems and possibly permanent blindness to anyone looking at the source when it goes off. Light Silver also is blindingly fast, using this strength far more than he ever uses any of his techniques.
Strengths: Aforementioned Light-based attacks and speed, very intelligent.
Weaknesses: Has a weakness to shadow-based attacks, And runs out of evnergy much faster thanSilver due to the high intensity of his attacks and the fact that Silver's body is not entirely compatible with Light's soul.
Mini-Timeline: Was created when Silver was, and has led him out of danger many times. Not much else.
Personality: He's always serious, and always seems to be somewhat sad, though why isn't even known to Silver. Will defend Silver and anyone Silver asks him to defend at all costs.

When in control of Silver's body, both swords merge into Shad's "Crusher Blade", a massive sword capable of smashing through nearly anthing with enough speed. Shadow Silver can also create an impenetrable shadowfog around himself, as well as use the Shadowbeam, a dark-magic attack that devastates anything in its way.
Strengths: Massive physical strength, Dark-magic attacks, high endurance
Weaknesses: Silver doesn't trust him at all, and will never purposely let Shads take control. He can be sealed back by Lights and Silver should he take control forcefully, but he must be distracted or tired to do so.
Mini-Timeline: Has only actually taken control once, before Silver came to the MFW, and went on a rampage. However, this was in the middle of a forest and he never got anywhere, and was forced back once he got tired of wanding aimlessly around destroying trees.
Personality: Always Angry, Cynical, Sarcastic, and usually Insane, Gets into a murderous rage if released.

Residence: Never established. It's known that he resides in Sega City, but no one knows where as he just usually is... around.
Power: Can levitate for short periods of time... we're talking minutes.
Strengths: Character normally created in my own comic A LONNNG time ago, as a really cheap knock-off DBZ style, (it was high school, what can I say).
But we'll keep it to just him being a really strong and powerful martial artist.
Weaknesses: When his rational emotions kick in, his soft heart is his weakness. However, he is mostly a smart ass, and as such can also net him trouble.

Mini-Timeline
: Raised as an orphan in an underground city filled with multi-species and races. He was brought up by a master in the martial arts, so someone who he regards as his father, alongside his other orphaned-best friend Kekkan Ikkatsu, a rare sky-blue furred fox. At the age of 9, Jin and Kekkan left the city in pure accident, lost in the world above, torn in war. They went through hardships, war, and rigorous training, fighting the good fight and all that. Needless to say, time passed, and Jin eventually left this place, leaving behind his friends and loved ones as he searched for his true self.

Using the power of a gaping plot hole, he somehow ended up in the universe of Sega City at the age of 16. Finding a new home with new friends, he still trained on a daily basis in his fighting uniform: light gray sleeveless shirt and orange windbreakers. Along the years, he rid himself of negativity through meditation, spawning the hellish EJ, known to many as Evil Jin. After this mistake, he aided forumers in foiling many diabolical plots from such wackos as Evil WB, Evil Jin, Evil Vec, and... well, many of the Evil crew.

At one point, both Jin and EJ joined for a brief moment to reveal to SegaCity the dubious secret that was PiE; a secret kept so tight, that it took 5 years for Jin to convince EJ to help educate the masses on force of PiE. It's been another 5 years since then, and a new generation amongst SegaCity... will the PiE ever show itself again?

Personality: A very kind hearted person, yet can be totally, brutally honest at all the wrong times, which gives him a vibe of a total smarmy smart ass. He loves a good spar, but will never fight for a kill, unless it's ever needed such a decision; he's only ever killed once. When enraged, he pretty much turns into an animal; his fur spikes and his eyes are blue flamed. Nothing stops his rage except for when he either quenches his blood thirst, or gets enough pause time to cool his senses; smooth talking does nothing.

Outfit: Dark navy blue long sleeve shirt, over a dark gray sleeveless shirt. The shirt's front has a yellow smiley face with "PiE" worded behind the smiley. This smiley, somehow, changes its expression to match that of its owner.
Residence: Never established. It was thought that he resided along with the other Evils in the Crystal Fortress, (or whatever it was called), though it was later figured out that he never resided with them at all. His whereabouts are never known and shows up usually out of the blue, or to big gatherings, (to screw things up).
Power: Can levitate, and has immense physical strength.
Strengths: Physical strength and overall jackassery. Seriously... he's a jack ass and loves all sorts of stupid pranks just to piss you off.
Weaknesses: Handcuffs; he was never able to escape handcuffs when captured by WB during the revelation of the all elusive PiE. Other weaknesses are currently unknown, though he hates idiots.

Mini-Timeline
: He is the complete essence of negativity of Jinsoku. Through meditation, Jinsoku spawned Evil Jin to run rampant among Sega City. He's teamed up with most of the other Evils, though never fully recognized any of their evil plots. To them, he always seemed to be a "goon for hire", or just an all around helping hand. He always worked alone, always for a laugh, always for himself. Lately, he's laid dormant, showing his face every so often. Some say he formed a heart, and has kept to himself to avoid hardships with the citizens of SegaCity. Others say he's just waiting for his next attack; any day we'll have a musical to another popular Disney movie, lyrics replaced by childish and immature words and phrases... oh the humanity.

At one point, both Jin and EJ joined for a brief moment to reveal to SegaCity the dubious secret that was PiE; a secret kept so tight, that it took 5 years for Jin to convince EJ to help educate the masses on force of PiE. Personality: Take the jack-assery and smart ass-ness of Jinsoku and multiply it by 100. You have EJ. He, however, takes to himself and doesn't like to group himself up with anyone. EJ acts and works alone. He never "teams up", he's just there for the ride and cheap thrills.

He cant be killed by poison, nor by any other means( not god modding/god powers, read on) he feels pain, (when others die from tourture, or pain, he lives on still feeling pain beyond that of death) he's desprate to find a way to end the pain, all he touches dies before him. he suffers from the most painful thing someone can suffer from, grief. he's an Apothicary by trade, he once succedded in creating the philosophers stone, but even that had its costs. the stoneis now kepted in a small chest that he carries (the size of a match box) with him, but he vows never to use such a thing again on himself, or another living thing. his whole body is poisonus to the touch, it happened in a Rite gone wrong, horrobly wrong, costing the life's of his apprentance and former teacher. he has tried to kill himself many times over his life, but they have all failed. His left arm is made of adamantium; its hand is attached to a metal tether that allows for him to use it as a grappling hand or a long-distance punch. The hand can shift into a foot-long blade, and it can fire green laser boltsfrom the palm. Also possesses a laser blaster (it looks like a black Colt automatic pistol) that fires red lasers.

Residence: Varied (Alternates from sewers to alleys to hotels to brief stays in rented apartments.)

Power: Super speed (Sonic the Hedgehog class), cybernetic left arm is nigh-unbreakable.

Strengths: Marskmanship, Focus (ESPECIALLY as Redley), Fighting Prowess

Weaknesses: Is only at full power whenever Redley is 'out', and Redley comes out whenever he pleases. As Ultra, he can sometimes be a bit too lackadaisical when seriousness is called for (though having an assassin in your head might be a reason why).

Mini-Timeline: He was once Jonathon Redley, the deadliest assassin of another forum world (a mix of Sonic and Star Wars). Upon arriving in the Mobius Forum World, an accident (bounty hunter + mountain falling on him, to be short) rendered him an amnesiac; he took the name Ultra Sonic 007, living life as a law enforcer (a somewhat zealous one, depending on who you ask). However, a series of events (detailed here) resulted in the return of Jonathon Redley. The assassin and the former law enforcer now share one body, with one personality dominant at any one time. Redley is easily the most prominent of the two; although Ultra is out more, Redley can and will take command at a moment's notice. Redley, in his brief time back, has already made a name for himself as a hedgehogwhose services are worth the price.

Personality: As Ultra, he is a joking, laid-back individual. This sometimes results in him not taking things seriously, but he'll hunker down and focus when the situation calls for it. As Redley, he is a no-nonsense, emotionless individual. He is usually silent, and will not waste time with any words when he does talk. Even though he is paid handsomely for his work, Redley only seeks a challenge; despite the lack of any bloodlust whatsoever, he merely seeks to prove his strength the only way he knows how: assassinations (usually killing anyone who gets in his way along the way to his target).

Note 1: Redley's martial arts moveset is similar to those of a Sith, due to his training background in the Archie Star Forum World. Even though Jonathon Redley himself was one of the strongest individuals in his respective forum world (something that carries over to the MFW as well, with regards to forumers only), Ultra Sonic 007 does not have the instinct and experience Redley does. In other words, Redley - for the purposes of the GM - is a kind of 'last-ditch' persona. Someone who can turn the tide, but not overwhelmingly (depending on the setting).

Note 2: Due to his birth in a forum world bearing the influence of Star Wars, his physical characteristics change depending on his moral alignment. As Ultra, he has green eyes. As Redley, his voice deepens, and his eyes turn red. These changes occur in a matter of seconds.

Note 3: After the events of The Segans, the Witch, and the Wedding, a few people (notably Tergonaut, Gyser, and Crimson Darkwolfe) know that Redley once worked for Stahlmansche. He might garner a few glares (to say the least) as a result, due to the fact Redley rescued her from collapsing Segan Ruins, leaving everyone else behind.

Note 4: And reading back through Ultra's Return, it seems I've forgotten about the flamethrower built in. o.o;

Looks good for the most part, folks.

Just would like to reiterate that I'm only allowing one character for each player to start out with - you may add more after we've gotten underway (in other words, I'll make an OOC note saying when everyone can add their additional characters). It is also at that later point that you can decide if you want to continue in the GM or if you feel you don't want to/have the time to do so anymore.

One problem we had in GM: Exodus was a lot of people dropped out after the initial burst of excitement. I blame my lack of ability to keep people hooked. I'd only ask that you make sure you really want to do this before we get started, and don't be afraid to add your best to the story.

Strengths: Inventive, smart, VERY powerful psionically, is an Arch-Psion, also an expert with his scythe and mindblades.
Weaknesses: Psionics are controlled by his emotions, has to constantly keep his emotions in check in order to keep his power under control. Additionally, the scythe influences his decisions time to time.
Mini-Timeline: Comes to the MFW from an alternate universe from the year 6077 AD. Was the first mortal in his universe to achieve immortality, was granted the scythe as a reward. Reawakened his dormant arch-psion power after being sucked into a plot hole, only freed by a nuclear blast. After arriving at MFW, he's been on several operations to save it, including a brief time spent in another dimension where he did most of the work himself. Cy's psionic power has since come to nearly full power, as evidenced by his actions in GM: Inferno.
Personality: Fairly distant and aloof-seeming to those he's on friendly terms with. Cold and callous towards those he hates. Shows no real emotions.

Residence: Varies. He's most often found in the Sega City Lodge when he's on the Mobius Forum World, although his original home is in a solar system a few parsecs away...
Power: Can make use of an artifact from his home world to channel a form of energy known as "Divie Light", thus transforming him into an armour-clad warrior. He can channel a varying amount of this power to match the task at hand, and whilst in this transformed state his physical abilities are all vastly augmented. Along with that, the armour grants him the ability of flight, firing bursts of light energy and a number of other useful capabilities. This has it's limitations though as will be explained under Weaknesses.
Outwith the armour, he has the talent of paper mastery - he can manipulate anything made of paper to his will, as per the trick shown in Read or Die. Other than that, nothing to note, 'cept perhaps Moderator powers.
Strengths: Physically fit, fairly strong. Strong-willed, confident, a natural-born leader some might say.
Weaknesses: The flipside of the coin to his energy channelling ability is, the further he is from the source (his home world), the harder it is to channel the energy for longer amounts of time. As a result, using his "Author Powers" as they're termed puts a tremendous strain on him. He can't maintain his powered-up form for more than a few minutes at a time, and the larger the amount of power he uses, the greater the strain. Trying to use too much at a time will literally eat away at his life force and kill him if he tries to do too much. Which could be problematic, because he's also known to be a bit of a maverick and try to take on more than he can handle on his own.
Mini-Timeline: Ash first appeared on the MFW about 2 years or more back, delivering a strange package to a rather surprised Modesty Hobbes, Justin Hobbes' sister. This later turned out to contain Flair Starlight...but that's a different story.
Since then, he turned up a good few more times and eventually became a more regular fixture. This included helping out with the Foxgirl Virus outbreak (don't ask) and a number of other missions.
Eventually, he was given the rank of Enforcer Fox by the Administration, and assigned as a Field Agent - due to the nature of his occupation as an intergalactic courier, he's ideally placed to scout out any possible threat to the MFW from other worlds or galaxies on his travels.
Personality: Cheerful and friendly, and pretty laid-back. His tall stature belies his welcoming nature - although he may look a little intimidating, he's actually very warm-hearted and open with other people. He's even quite cheeky sometimes, and not above making the odd wicked or lascivious remark. In spite of that though, he's faithful to friends and family, and would do anything for them. He's perhaps loyal and trusting to a fault - it's gotten him in trouble once or twice before, and could well do so again if he isn't careful.
Miscellaneous Notes
Note 1:
In the Lodge RP canon, Ash is married to Flair Starlight... whether that's something Terg intends to have persist in this GM remains to be seen. =P

I really wish I could take part in this, as so far the only MFW RP I've been in is that spinoff adventure 'Festival of Fun'...

...however as it stands I'm almost certain I'll be too buisy right now, and wouldn't be able to keep up with the posting. If the posts were really slow then I may be able to hack it, but I'm pretty sure that the posts would be on the scale of 'multiple per day' rather than 'four or five every few days', judging by the interest going on here.

Tergoman, I'll give ya Wraith's info just on the off chance that by the time it starts I have more free time to play with, however unless I specifically state that I will be able to take part, then don't count me in the lineup, for the sake of everyone else. I'd hate to be the guy who holds it up for everyone.

Power: Considerable physical strength, so much so a to be able to cause locallised earthquakes by striking the ground. Can also climb walls with his knuckledusters and glide similar to Knuckles.
Strengths: Very level-headed and brave, and loyal to his friends. Will always stand up for justice and right, no matter the cost. Kind and considerate of those weaker than himself.
Weaknesses: Has a dark past that can affect him emotionally should he allow it. It can also affect him physically in the shape of a triangular metal cybernetic implant on his forehead, linked directly to his brain - this implant reacts to energy sources and power, and can cause him pain and dizzyness at times, occasionally KOing him altogether if the interference is strong enough.
Mini-Timeline: Entered the MFW a number of years ago, descovered the RP domes and pretty much became a hermit in them for a long while. Did get involved in the small incident during the Festival of Fun a short time ago when someone sabotaged the MFW Water Park, and met up with Justin Hobbes and a couple of other MFW staff at the time, but other than that has had little contact with the administration.
Personality: Quite a serious character, but he does have a sence of humour which shows up from time to time. Noble to a fault, and will always come down on the side for morallity and right, no matter the situation or the cost. Not afraid to voice his opinions, however not to the point of being confrontational and agressive. Friendly, warm, and kind, and very respectful of those who show him respect too.

For those using characters you are also using in the lodge RP, whether you've posted here already or not: I will need you to PM me any lodge history that you would like to consider canon for your character in the MFW setting. I am only using some of what happened in the lodge as canon myself already; you may choose what you want to keep and what you don't care about. However, the only thing to expect is that I may say "no, you may not keep this part of lodge history as canon because reason x"; I will try to be as fair as possible.

I hope I'm not too late, but here's Kaze's profile. It's sort of reworked, I think.

Outfit: Aside from the sky blue bandana she wears on her head and carrying her sword around most of the time, nothing.

Residence: A first floor apartment on 2-02 Angel Island Drive, located in eastern Sega City, which she shares with CSR, Pikku, and Saya.

Powers: Nothing much except that her general abilities are much more advanced than a normal chao. Her speed, endurance, and flight are pretty top-notch. Swimming and power are above average. Her skills with her sword aren't the greatest, but she can get by. She also pilots an upgraded Chao Walker, at which she is very skilled. She may also have some latent abilities, but that remains to be seen.

Strengths: Kaze may seem high-strung most of the time, but she's not afraid to help out those in need, and will fight to protect those she cares about.

Weaknesses: Although she has good physical strength, she still isn't much stronger than a normal human. Due to her small size, it doesn't take much force from someone larger to toss her around like a rag doll. As a result, she is at a major disadvantage when it comes larger and even giant beings.

Mini-Timeline: Kaze arrived in the MFW near death in 2005. She'd managed to escape from a mad scientist who'd injected her with a virus known to kill chao in her world. After a long and hard recovery, she eventually gained citizenship as a forumer, gained residence and a job, and lives like any forumer does. (see Misc. Notes below)

She hasn't had many adventures aside from taking down a giant robot and investigating some lunatic trashing robots in her neighborhood, but it's led to her eventually becoming a moderator (more on that later).

Before then, she and her sibling Kumo were two chao who started life at an unknown lab facility, part of a project to restore the population of chao to the planet. The chao had all but died out due to human pollution of the air and water, etc. Their creators were Dr. Thadeus Benedict and a friend/colleague, Dr. Kyoko Yamamoto.

Dr. Marcoh, Benedict's superior, stole data pertaining to human influence on chao evolution, and used it to create a special chamber to force the change, when in fact, it was basically a torture device for chao. His first subject was Kumo, which resulted in him turning Dark, going crazy, and eventually leaving the complex with a huge chip on his shoulder towards people.

Benedict let Kaze free soon after, he didn't want the same thing to happen to her if she stuck around. All she had was a bandana and custom made short sword, presents from Yamamoto for the chao's love of samurai anime (Kumo liked horror films, so he got the scarf and scythe).

Kaze happened to return after a year, having gained a dismal view of her world. She ran into Marcoh again, and the rest is history.

Personality: At first, she is very introverted and sometimes doesn't trust others, as a by-product of what happened to her in her old world. Now, she's more outgoing and open, although sometimes wary. If she can all you a friend, that means she can truly depend on you.

--Misc. Notes-

- Because Kaze is a chao, she was simply classified as a pet at first, not a forumer.

- Kaze became a moderator around January 2007. How she actually became one is currently unknown. (i.e. I haven't written about it yet.)

- Kaze and her brother both fully understand human speech. It's obvious they also understand ordinary chao. Most people are surprised when hearing Kaze speak for the first time.

- In chao terms, Kaze's intelligence is very high. However, she's only slightly more intelligent than the average human. The same goes for her strength (see Weaknesses above)

I think that's about it for now. I can't really put much because I'm tossing ideas about for future stories with Kaze and develop the character. I've still got to rewrite about 4 other profiles for the others (Pikku, CSR, Sailor Wind, and Kumo). Also, chao are supposed to be genderless, blah blah blah, but I refer to Kaze as female, and Kumo as male. Go figure.

Powers:

Many and varied.

Crimson's powers stem from seven atoms embedded in his heart that belong in a universe that no longer exists, and what they do is pretty much only limited by Crim's imagination and the time and effort he is willing to put into safely learning how to do such a thing. The entire basis of his powers is energy manipulation in all it's forms. However, Crims isn't exactly proffesor of energy maging.

Generally Crim's knowledge of his abilities is limited to a few areas. Primarally self defense, if he is paying attention, Crimson can block or divert almost any energy based attack you could throw at him, and even turn it back on it's owner. If he has nowhere to send the energy (or lack of energy, like darkness, cold, whathaveyou) though it can get quite dangerous as he would have to store it in his body. Catch him off guard however, and your laughing over his smoking corpse.

He can also redirect energy (or a lack thereof) from his surrounds, or concentrate any he's playing with into a more damaging attack, or even spread it over a larger area at a weaker concentration. He can even transmute energy from one form into another, but this dosn't work for energy to lack of, eg hot to cold.

Playing with it like this takes some hard concentration though, and can be dangerous to him if he isn't careful. He's already lost an ear that way. More adventureous abilities would endanger more than just himself, so he is very cautious about experimenting.

Other uses that he has been known to use are to use energy from surroundings, or even his body, to enhance his own physical abilities, encouraging the growth of muscle or the healing of cuts. But this is done VERY rarely as it is exceedingly dangerous, since without a constant energy supply, or even with, he could start feeding his own body to the cause.

One thing he does do fairly regularly, to the point it's pretty much second nature now, is that when it's dark, he reflects around the light in his eyes, much like a cat's eyes. Though this does dimish his overall vision.

Due to watching many people get hurt and his current skill set not being useful, he has been experimenting with extending his energy shielding to others. After much playing about, he was succesfull in creating one constant shield for TMX, on a dinner plate. Encouraged by this, he has been working on it more in secret, attempting many multiple shields with which he could protect others. Unfortunatly he still has some way to go, since the shields all feed directly into him, and if he looses concentration, the shields themselves can become deadly, superheating or supercooling the contents, and injuring Crimson himself. A toilet has been lost to this cause. Mourn it.

Crimson's aim with energy attacks is drastically better than that of projectile weapons, due to him being more in control of it. He's still no Sniper Wolf though.

For any of these, and any more that may occur, Crimson cannot just pull energy or cold out of his arse (well, he could, but it might go gangrene and fall off) it has to come from somewhere, and there are always repercussions. Every action he takes has a reaction, and if he dosn't balance it right, well, that's how he ended up with a plastic ear.

Strengths:

Generally these days, Crimson relies on being a charming louse to get out of trouble, and it's probably served him better than it should have.
If ever he can't talk his way out of a situation though, Crimson's best skills in combat lie in a mid range battle. Fairly strong.
So for physical fights he pretty much relies on his sword-staff-spear thing, Cerberus. With which he is more profficient than anyone with such an unwieldy weapon has any right being. The weapon itself can be seperated into segments, so he'll generally only use as much as he thinks is appropriate.
Crimson has good very good endurance. He's a good dancer and quite the accomplished chef and drink mixer, both alcaholic and non.
He's also, for a wolf, suprisingly good at climbing, due to having some squirrel heritage, though ever since he lost an ear, his balance has not been as good as it used to be, and although he can get up there, he's prone to falling down soon thereafter.
His jaws are rather powerful as well, but the less said about that, the better.

Weaknesses:

His aim is pretty much atrocious, and his ability to dodge projectiles is also pretty bad. And anybody closing in fast enough to get into a fist or knife fight will probably be able to do quite a bit of damage, since he has no paw-to-hand finese. Isn't as fast as he'd like to be, and can sometimes be a little clumsy.
Highly distractable, and trusting with anybody freindly to him. Overly forgiving in most cases (The only thing he dosn't stand for is messing with his friends).
Weakness to psychic attacks. Can't resist something that's "Good for a laugh." Will generally always fall for anything told to him by anybody with a cute butt.
Prone to loosing his mind if people mess with it too much, with a varity of interesting results.
Crimson has a deep distrust of machines, almost as far as to say he is technophobic. He can accept luxuries like dvd players and computers and telephones, but robots and machines bigger than he is, or any robot meant for destruction, will be looked upon with wary eyes.
He is also Clustraphobic, despises being locked anyway, and gets travel sick really easily.

Mini-Timeline:

When Crimson's native timeline was destroyed (actually, he was responsible, but it was for a good cause!) his soul was split across every possible universe in the Omniverse, which is the main cause of his general broken-ness.

The Crimson that landed in MFWorld landed about 3 years ago, and beleived he grew up there. After doing some generally unsucsessful adventuring work in various caves and ruins, he settled down and took a job in the RP bar, where he worked for a long while. Occasionally taking odd jobs on the side, such as a dig with Justin which ended in quite a predicament, if they seemed interesting at the time.
During one of the fights at the lodge, he managed to freeze his own ear off, and ever since has been a tad deaf, generally only hearing clearly if he is listening.
Most recently, Crim found out he wasn't who he thought he was, in fact, his entire memories were a lie. He kinda wigged out a bit, and tried to take over the MFW, under the claim of protecting his friends. During an epic, and slightly hilarious battle, Ash Fox finally defeated him, however by this point Crims was not only channelling the entirity of the power crystal caverns, but also anything nearby. Ash overloaded the poor guy, and Crims turned to solid crystal. He's now back, and Ash Fox owes him a drink.

Personality:

Yeah, putting all that in the profile here would just be far to huge, so short version! Crimson's psyche is pretty much a god awful mess. On the outside, for the most part, Crimson is a gennerally happy, always joking sort. Good to his friends and friendly to pretty much all, though with some heavy, almost inexplicable mood swings at times.

Quick question Terg;

Was Heartcease the Frizonian that attacked the lodge, oh so long ago? I'm asking because if it is the same guy, then that particular lodge adventure isn't canon to this GM, and thus, Gyser would never have seen the Frizonians before. Otherwise, he has seen them, and would be itching to lay a bit of a beatdown on them.

Jin: Actually, yes. Group Mission: Inferno became a commando mission on a volcanic island against a group determined to burn Sega City to the ground. Group Mission: Revival started off with a murder in Laventer Asylum and ended when an Elder God from Outside the MFW sent the group back to the MFW after having a trippy adventure with Lovecraftian creatures. And Group Mission: Herland featured an invasion by a feminist world (more serious than it sounds!). GM: WoE (Worlds of Exploration) was probably the only one that wasn't particularly dire in some way or another, and involved exploration of new worlds to try to find the lost Figment Keys before the MFW fell apart from lack of insanity (the good kind). My personal style tends to omit some of the MFW wackiness, but it should still be a factor at times, so don't be afraid to have some hilarity get involved.

Gyser: Heartcease was the name of the Frizonian that attacked the lodge in the chat RP, but that was quite a while ago; I'm mostly recycling the name because it's rather a favorite of mine for villains. We can say that the encounter in the lodge RP did happen, but with a differently-named Frizonian; it fits in because it was a scout for the Frizonians that accidentally landed on the MFW back during the time the Frizonians couldn't detect it, which is why the invasion didn't start until later. This way Gyser has had experience with one of them before, so go ahead.

CJ: Glad to have you if you're able; this encounter with the Frizonians is probably going to go on for a little while, since we've suddenly got an entrenched enemy position right in the middle of the city.

Obsessed with either getting rich or having exciting battles, his antics can get irritating. He is also very easily suspicious of even the most innocent person, he normally concludes that they're "up to something" and then proceeds to follow them around until he either gets proven right or wrong. He's not the most loyal person around, either, although he can still get attached to someone. If he considers somebody his close friend, he'll defend them until the bitter end.
Notes: For some odd reason, he calls everyone Sam when speaking directly to them, and uses the name Sam whenever the name is unknown. He doesn't know his own first name and has somehow adopted the name Painting.
