I've had a workload dropped on me. You guys probably won't see another entry from me till like Saturday mid day. Sorry.
Here ya go Jin, as well as everyone else
Char Name: Ryan Rosario (Everyone: Wha?!?!?)
Char Owner: DL
Rank: Forumer
Nicks: N/A
Age: Twentysomethng
Species: Humanoid form. The face has features, but its completely black
Height : 6'1
Gender: Male
Eyes: Royal Blue
Hair: Brown, slightly curly
Outfit: Ryan wears a royal blue windbreaker outfit, complete with swishing sound.
Residence: The Nexus, MFW though his apartment is long since gone.
Power: Ryan has limited umbrakinesis, he can use them moreso defensively than offensively (ie shields, barriers, that sort of thing.)
He can fly, and can shadow shift-but he cannot teleport.
Strengths: Ryan is very intelligent, his knowledge really leaning towards molecular bio and biochemistry among others.
Flight time is very long, though if carrying more than 2 people, it begins to falter.
Weaknesses: His umbrakinesis is severely limited-he can only do strenuous defensive motions for minutes at a time before needing that much time to rest (He can block a 6 story building, but the shield won't last for more than 3 minutes). Likewise, his shadowshifting can only be done moderately.
He also carries a sword, but has no idea how to use it at all.
.
Mini-Timeline: First use in canon MF world sparingly...and then appeared out of nowhere one day back into MFW.
Personality: Ryan is a funny guy. He likes people, especially now since he can really interact with them. He has a very bad temper, but that is held back by his ability to store anger inside instead of letting it out. He's very headstrong, and will do any task until completion. While willing to help anyone in need, he's slightly hesitant about helping men unless they're funny in his eyes. Women are more suited to his needs. Heh, for a funny moment, give Ryan a Rubix Cube for a little bit.
Notes: For everyone wondering what the heck happened to Derek, here's a short story. The full story is still being written, so bear with me. Derek came back to the MFW a while ago, very different. A few odd things occurred along the way, and it led to Ryan, one of the two main voices in Derek's mind (he was the bold text I used back then, and there used to be thousands of voices in Derek's head), becoming the ONLY voice left in Derek's mind. As such, when Ryan's consciousness is allowed to control the body- it is severely limited as to how the power can be used and for how long. (Kinda think Capt Ginyu-couldn't use Goku's body's full potential since his own potential was lower due to not being as developed.)
Also. Ryan has Royal Blue eyes. Not Icy Blue...jus' a heads up.
Ey, Terg! Is there anything else I need to know about Marcus the Third? I'm assuming he has fighting/firearms/survival training , but is there anything beyond the mundane going on with him?
Also, how'd he respond to a chaotic wiseguy like MDM?
About Marcus the Third:
He is a SONIC agent (Special Operations National Intelligence Collaboration), effectively a black-ops agent in terms of skills. Firearms, CQC, survival, and he even has some field medic training to help the group out. Marcus does not possess any special powers (at least, none that have manifested themselves), and there isn't anything especially unusual about him that can be detected by the naked eye.
To someone using any extrasensory ability, he doesn't seem to give off the same sorts of life energy levels as the average person. Specifically, there is life force, but there isn't as much of it as it would be in a regular person. There isn't anything hostile about it though.
Marcus's personality is that of a polite and somewhat stiff royal guardsman, if that helps any. He is helpful, will often offer advice, and is there to act as a field liaison between the forumers and the HQ Tower command center. He is extremely loyal to the forumers and will assist them in any way possible.
As far as reacting to MDM...consider Marcus a "straight man." 😛 You may use him at will to help set up any jokes you desire. It fits his background. X3
Just out of curiousity, how far in are we going to go before we get to bring in a secondary character?
Basically, when the team takes care of the icesteroid parked in the apartment complex. After that point secondary characters can be brought in. Just use discretion when bringing in more characters - we already have a lot of people involved at the moment, and every additional character is one more that has to be kept track of. Alternatively, you can use the opportunity to switch characters if you feel the character you are using isn't working for you in terms of the GM. It can also be a dropout point for those who feel they aren't keeping up or are otherwise not enjoying themselves.
Also, a question; we did splitting up the group into teams in GM: Exodus, but I don't know if that worked so well. Would you guys think that would be good to try if we split the group into two teams at certain points to help reduce the number of characters each poster has to keep track of, or do you think it'll get confusing and people might drop out on one of the teams to the point where only one or two people are there and it gets hard to continue?
...boy that was a long question. In any case, this IS the MFW, so if worse comes to worse, we can always plothole people out of the GM. I'm not going to be too strict on people leaving the GM; the only problem I'd have is someone leaving then joining, leaving then joining...that could get confusing after a while. But I would also ask that if people do leave the GM that they notify me, either in PM or via an OOC post in the GM, or a post here.
I'll only be bringing in one.
The group idea could work. The only reason I dropped out of GM:E was due to a combination of forgetting EB existed, and too much had happened whenever I remembered.
Char Name: Deus Ex Tortugina
Rank: Turtle of a machine
Species: Badnik
Height : 2'4''
Gender: Robot
Eyes: Big, Black, and Beady
Hair: Flat against surface of head, green, metallic
Outfit: Robots are naked, silly!
Residence: Sky Chase Zone
Powers: Flight, unlimited support items, able to fire one shot, wasted it trying to shoot down the Tornado 16 years ago (missed by a mile)
Bio: Magical robot turtle that flys randomly down from the sky, drops nice things, and buggers off before he actually has to join the story
N'ah, no force grouping. The fact that it's the MoFo means that randomocity is natural. Let it flow, Tergy. Let it flow.
For those curious as to any flashbacks between DL and me concerning Group Mission: Revival, True Red has it archived here.
Just quickly updated parts (namely timeline stuffs) of a shorter version of an older profile (with transformation descriptions from the longer version tacked on at the end) so that I could finally get something posted for this^^; Might end up tinkering around with it more later, but hopefully it should work for now to at least give a general idea of what this character is like.
Char Name: Arikyrenne
Char Owner: Arikyrenne
Rank: Forumer
Nicks: Ari, Arik, Ari-Chan, Ariky, Ayenne
Secret Identities: none
Age: **
Species: Human (born as)
Height: *ft**in
Gender: Female
Eyes: (more@*)
Hair: (*'s cont'd)
Outfit: In her human form, she usually wears a T-shirt, long pants, and sneakers (something comfortable).
Residence(s): her apartment in Sega City (for the moment, anyway)
Powers: telekinetic powers (technically psionic powers), limited Tae Kwon Do skills (yet to actually be used IC due to her other powers), ability to transform into four other forms (cat, tigress, smaller dragon, dragon), ability to access dragon magic while in either of the dragon forms (though she currently only knows how to use the magic to create an orb of light (also yet to be seen used IC))
Strengths: Arikyrenne can occasionally have surprising agility and bursts of power…even in human form. She is pretty intelligent, quite patient, and very persistent. She rarely ever loses her temper. Technically, Arikyrenne has the potential to be extremely powerful.
Weaknesses: Arikyrenne is typically shy when meeting new people, and is always worried about hurting someone else's feelings by doing or saying something wrong (is very conscientious). Despite how much power she seems to have, she does not like fighting, and thus does not know too much about what she can truly do. She is also always worried that she will somehow lose control of her powers, and thus tries not to use too much power at once. Besides, using any of her powers is quite demanding (mentally or physically, depending on the power), and she can tire quickly. At a certain level of exhaustion, she will even automatically revert to her human form if she is in one of her other forms. There is also the chance that she can succumb to mind-control or hypnosis (though she is normally strong enough to snap out of it), and thus be used by others as a "living weapon" (in which case the self-imposed restrictions on her powers are gone). Also, there are times when others take advantage of Arikyrenne's friendly nature…and there are times when she can be a bit naïve.
Mini-Timeline: Arikyrenne was drawn to MFW early January 2006 by an unknown force…a feeling that this was where she should be.
After several adventures at the Lodge, she is now taking part in GM: DF. Due to a set of events that took place prior to the GM in which she was taken control of and forced to attack others with her powers, she has yet to use her dragon forms for anything other than just flying around (and that's only with her smaller dragon form; she hasn't even tried going back to full dragon yet due to the damage that was caused by that form in particular). While still not completely recovered from the experience, she's been trying her best to take steps forward and move on.
Personality: Arykyrenne is shy, friendly, and patient. She rarely looses her temper, and can be quite persistent when it comes to overcoming obstacles in the path of life. She has a habit of worrying a bit too much (especially about hurting others' feelings), however, and can become sad or even depressed if she suspects she did something terribly (by her definition) rude or wrong. Other than that, she is typically known for being helpful, polite, and cheerful in general. Arikyrenne is quite honest, though she can tell nontruths if necessary. Also, if Arikyrenne makes a promise, or is told a secret, that promise/secret will be kept unless breaking/telling it is truly the morally right thing to do…and even then she may (depending on the severity of the promise/secret) wait until asked to do so. In addition, Arikyrenne is pretty intelligent, though she can be a bit naïve at times. And, finally, Arikyrenne does not like fighting, and prefers to work out problems in non-violent ways; however, if the fight is unavoidable, Arikyrenne is willing to do what she can to defeat the opponent.
---------------------------------------------
Dragon Form: ( ) Arikyrenne the dragon is Arikyrenne's power form. As a dragon, she has the power of flight, is immune to most types of fire (only other dragonfire and certain types of magical fire can harm her), and can breathe two types of dragonfire: the first is made up of orange-red flames and can burn even under water; the second, known as "healing fire" is made up of blue-green flames and can heal most wounds (there may even be the slightest chance that it may revive one who has recently died). In this form, Arikyrenne has pure white scales, with the exception of random flecks of light gold that can be seen at certain angles on said scales. Her eyes are golden, and her teeth and claws are strong and sharp. Arikyrenne also has access to dragonmagic in this form, but the only spell she currently knows how to cast is one that creates an orb of light for seeing in dark places. Also, as her dragon form is quite large (though relatively small compared to other dragons), she is capable of transporting other people or creatures.
Smaller Dragon Form: ( / ) It is possible for Arikyrenne to transform into a smaller version of her dragon form that can be labeled as anthromorphic (i.e. dragon that is not much larger than herself, and is bipedal). This way, she can trade size for agility, while keeping the rest of her dragon powers, though this form is still much less agile than her tigress form.
Tigress Form: ( ) Arikyrenne the tigress is Arikyrenne's speed and stealth form. In this form, Arikyrenne has retractable claws that she can use for climbing or protection. Her sharp teeth can leave a painful bite too, but her claws are her preferred choice when it comes to close-range fighting. However, she rarely fights in this form, as the tigress is designed for speed, agility, and stealth. She also has excellent nighttime vision (and has golden-colored eyes in this form, as well). In this form, her fur is a white with silver markings. Despite the light coloration, however, she is hard to spot when hidden. (Please note that tigress refers to an anthromorphic tigress, not the four-legged animal.)
Cat Form: ( ) It is possible for Arikyrenne to take the tigress form a step further, and become a cat with similar, yet different, markings. This way, she can access areas too small for the rest of her forms. This form (ignoring telekinetic powers), however, would be very weak in both attack and defense, as it is just a super agile and stealthy version of a normal cat.

As far as reacting to MDM...consider Marcus a "straight man." 😛 You may use him at will to help set up any jokes you desire. It fits his background. X3
Heh, heh...will do ^.^
And since MDM is "in play" I'll post his profile:
Char Name: MoKat's Dark Magician
Char Owner: Mokat
Rank: Henchman
Class: Spellcaster
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, with Good tendencies
Age: unknown
Species: assumed to be human
Height: 6' 6"
Gender: Male
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Purple
Fur: (in Echidna form) light purple
Outfit: Purple robe & armor that is similar to what Yugi's Dark Magician wears, but MDM usually doesn't wear his hat unless he knows he's about to get into a big fight.
Residence: MoKat's Flophouse & Fishpond (located where the S.P.A. and the Boredom District intersect)
Hobbies: blasting things (especially toilets), destroying Anti-Spam Men, breaking in the fresh Spam that Rico dumps into the S.P.A., setting things on fire, scaring the crap out of people, flirting with Sailor Evil
Likes: Ghost-type Pokemon, randomness, darkness, foul odors, Dr. Fexusfan, Sailor Evil ^.^
Dislikes: Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Barney the Purple Dinosaur, Electric-type Pokemon, lawyers--especially EAVIL (Evil Admins' Very Informed Lawyer)
Powers: Dark Magic-- MDM is capable of casting any spell that is classified as "Dark Magic" in the Might & Magic series or as "Black Magic" in the Final Fantasy series.
Spellcasting Mastery-- MDM can cast high-level spells. (This includes Meteor--FF fans feel free to treat him as a Lvl. 90 Black Mage)
Teleportation--MDM typically leaves behind a stinky, purple cloud when using this ability (but not always)
Weapons Proficiency, Staff-- MDM can use his staff as a melee weapon if necessary. (Usually prefers not to). MDM's staff deals Dark and Fire damage when used as a melee weapon.
Telepathy -- MDM can communicate telepathically with MoKat, Valor, Thamior, Kyoji, and any nearby telepath (this ability was gained while studying with Azuroth--from "Revival & Redemption" RP at the S.P.A.)
Personality: mischievous, capricious, sometimes comical; has a crude sense of humor, but is loyal to his friends & to the S.P.A.
Special Notes: MDM & GT the Magikoopa are rivals, but are capable of working together when facing a common threat. GT has been known to Polymorph MDM into random things...this is how MDM's echidna form came to be ^.^
While some forumers may know him as "Dargoth", MoKat will -always- address MDM as "Dark Magician, ..." (the reason probably will not be relevant to this GM).
Any forumer can ask him for help in this GM; he's more likely to render aid to a resident of the S.P.A. though.
Hey Terg, A question.
Realized you've only allowed us one entrance....
Also realized you have made one main corridor....
Any way I can utilize my plan to get a wider door to be opened so Kaze's Walker can fit through? (Dun wanna actually say my plan yet, cuz its pretty silly >p) I ask because just because we don't SEE any doors dosen't mean there aren't any other entrances.
Do the Frizonians have any sort of "heat vision" or anything else that would make Invisibility/Vanishaga pointless?
Answers!
DL: Well, you could always blast the entrance wider. The corridors inside would allow her to get in if she wants, the doorway inside will probably be the only obstacle.
Also, the group could blast a hole in the side of the icesteroid. If they have any extrasensory abilities or scouts, they might be able to get the teleporter people to get them inside. Or just blast a hole once they've pinpointed a position.
MoKat: They do have infrared vision instead of regular vision; this means that you could obscure yourself to their sight if you used a spell that made you appear to be colder than you actually were. But they would be able to see an invisible person unless the invisibility also erased all traces of heat.
Due to his being overly 'prepared', Mobius has one single grenade, if anyone is interested in blasting their way in. 😛 Hint Hint!
I'll let some folks make their moves before making anything in play regarding it, but I SHALL make the Gang 'aware' he has it now...XDD
Twofold Reasoned Bump:
One to get it into the publi8c eye again for more Discussions, because the GM has slowed down and probably needs some in-depth OOC for progession to the next thrilling segment!
and...
The second is because I've been somewhat, uhh, been the subjected to a temporary lack of reliable interwebs of a regular basis, so I will probably post again when I've established something currently near completion!
So yeah, He's tagging along a moment until I can get back in fully...I'll keep you folks updated!
uhh, can we say chibibecca has been destracted by the snow..? >>; whee, snowmen! (irl = no brain time to try to keep up with RPs )
lol... Sure..
Works for me, Becca.
I've gotten the renders of the Freezer done, and will post them up for viewing about the same time we get the story to that point (which will most likely be today or tomorrow for reference).
How many...
1) ...Elite Frizonians have breached HQ Tower?
2) ...iceteriods did Heartcease's ship launch, and how many (other that the one we took out) actually made it to MFW?
3)...Frizonians does it take to change a lightbulb? (j/k)
1) There's at least one squad of 10 that has survived the Tower's defenses and is locking down the building.
2) There were multiple icesteroids launched at the planet, but there was only one sent to Sega City. Let's put it in the hundreds.
3) It takes two. One to open the fridge and hold the door while the other changes that little lightbulb. A third is optional to stay in the fridge and see if the light really does go out.
Sorry for the slow response.
Just out of curiosity, would you happen to have a picture of what the Frizonians look like? I know they were described in an earlier post in the GM thread, but I'm still kind of at a loss about what they look like.
Coooool.
Thanks for the ref. I kept picturing them like those Ice enemies from Spyro 2.
Heck yeah! Glacius! =D
