If I could fly like that, I would also kill children.
You'd kill children regardless of whether you could fly or not.

Oh god that is so wrong. XD I remember the animated special that's based on, I think. I used to own the book, too, and I still own the little plush that came with it. =D
LMAO the song is funny enough. So what's in an IRN BRU that makes you find a flying burglar snowman?
XD great song...
Red Bull gives you... wait, what is this again? An Iron Brew? Oh Oo
I laughed out loud when I first saw this on TV this morning. I'm wondering how many people under a certain age or outside the UK recognise the parody for what it is, but I think that part of my remaining sense of childlike innocence fled screaming. 🙂
What the hell is IRN BRU, anyway? And more importantly, why aren't you people pronouncing it like "urn", as there's clearly no O in there to make it "IRON"?
It's a carbonated soft drink brewed in Scotland - one of the original slogans for it was "Made in Scotland from girders", until the Advertising Standards Authority decided to get literal on them in the '90s.
Try saying "iron" in a heavy Scots accent. 🙂
Irn Bru is fluorescent orange and tastes delicious. This is all you or anybody needs to know.
That's hilarious! Child killing over soda! Great stuff!
lol win
For anyone who doesn't understand why this rips a hole in the psyche of the UK's twentysomethings, the explanation is here.
I think that there must've been about sixteen consecutive years when Channel Four showed it on Christmas Eve - I honestly wonder why they don't seem to show it any more.
As far as I know, it's related issues that came out with the Marmite Paddington Bear issue.
Apparently it's the use of the characters in a situation the creator is opposed to/without consent/ ect
I think I read it on the BBC news webpage, but I cannot remember for certain.
It's an advert which plays on Freeview Digital Channels, but you won't see it outside of that, the same as you no longer see the good Coke adverts anymore, even though "Holidays are Coming" is ten times better than the latest "Through the Years" advert.
(Ye Gods, I post again)

Give me some time to nab my mic and so forth and I'll give you an audio example. ;D
~SilverShadow.
Funny, I'm not from the UK and I'm not twentysomething, yet I remember that. Must've played in the US at one point.
I'm American and I remember that. Have it on DVD and everything.
But I dunno if I count, since I stayed in England for three full years. :<
