Kitty in 2008: I'M RICH! I'M RICH! OMG I'M THE RICHEST MAN IN ILLINOIS!!!

Kitty in 2009: I'd live in a cardboard box, but they're too expensive.

Am I the only one who thinks ">_< NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!" is a gross overreaction?

Is the falling dollar a good thing? Hardly. Should something be done, or should we be concerned? Certainly. Should we be breaking down in tears and cradling ourselves in the fetal position in the corner while listening to Linkin Park over this, as if it was something very sudden? Definitely not.

Currency is a source of national pride in many countries. Americans like to think the dollar runs the world, but I know some British people who are just as bad and long for the good old days when the exchange rate was fixed at three dollars for every pound sterling.

It's kinda silly, but it is something to be a tad bit concerned about economically. It's not a catastrophe when you end up on the lower end of the market, but when your currency is in freefall, then you need to be a little bit worried.

It was just a matter of time. Based on economy, the US is not the world's #1 power country (no idea how yo translate potencia mundial XD). Many countries are stepping up. One day China may rule the world. Think about it, there's Chinese people in almost every country. I know there's more Chinese or Asians in my floor than Americans.

Yea...free falling dollar is not a good sign for us...doesn't help that we keep running up the national debt...
