Well, it's that time again..... a new year as well as a new decade dawns upon us and with it comes new hope. I plan to celebrate the first day of 2010 by doing some swimming in the ocean to relieve myself from this hot summer weather. I might play some video-games too. Other than that, I'm not sure what else I might do on New Year's Day tomorrow. How do the rest of you plan to celebrate New Year's Day?

Happy New Year Year bud[even though 've still got another 16 hours lol]! That sounds like a great way to bring in the New Year, my man. As for me...not sure. A friend of mine is having a party and this girl I like[and just recently started dating *yay yay!*] is going to a neighboring town, so I might just stay in tonight. 😛 How boring, huh? Play some video games or something. Haha!

Yup, it's officially 2010 here. Australia has led the rest of the world into this new decade with a promise of blue skies ahead!

Well I'm working to "manager close" tonight, which basically means I'm one of the last three people out the door when we lock up for the night (manager/culinary assistant are the other two). Which'll probably be around 11:30ish, depending on what time the last guest comes in.

As for tomorrow, I start work again bright and early at 11AM to probably about 9PM! 😀 😀 😀

In other words, no epic New Years celebrations for me. But it was the same last year, so at least I'm keeping up tradition :3

Happy 2010. we survived the first decade of the new millennium and all we got was this lousy T-Shirt. Let's see what the next decade has in store for us.

Well, it's 6am, I've just got home, it must be newyears. Unusually I'm fairly sober. Unusually, this is my house.

Even more unusually, I've made new years resolutions. This year may be a year of change for Crimjims.

Unfortunatly, all signs point to a change toward becoming more of a hermit.

Got home about an hour ago but been tending to facebook instead Let's recall the day:

Finished packing around 1 am and took a shower.
Ran experiments in lab (work) until 3:30 am
Taxi to airport and first flight from Omaha (beautiful clear skies yet below zero wind chill) to Chicago (light snow). Flight to Dallas (rainy) and finally arrive in Puerto Rico at 8 pm (cloudy).
Stayed at my aunts and was putting a dress on and towel drying my hair when it was midnight... Played with my godkids and ate and ate and ate some more.
Called the bf and he picked me up. Went to friend's house until 330 am.

I've always been told to welcome the new year the way you would like it to be. So I wanted mine to be surrounded by family, dressed nice and clean, and of course to be with my boyfriend.

He keeps asking what I want for Xmas and the whole 'All I want is you' is not working anymore. Is it valid to tell him "I'm 25... seriously just give me the ring already!". XD

The previous decade was called the 'noughties'. What's this decade called? The 'teenies'?

And I say, poppycock. You will never convince me that 1980 was part of the 70's.
