Well this month has been so crappy, the only thing I'm thankful is being alive I guess... for knowing which friends are real... and for knowing how people really are.

I did go home for a whole week but now I'm dealing with the consequences of dropping everything and leaving. It wasn't vacation. It sucks being in a plane or the airports (especially during connections) and people saying oh, you're going to Puerto Rico for vacation! Then having to reply, no... I'm burying my best friend. My boss is not American and I don't want to stereotype by mentioning where he's from but he's basically pissed about me leaving. I'm depressed and been thinking about taking Serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SRIs) or drinking St John's Wort tea to see if I get out of it.

I'm tired of condolences too... the guy was my first official boyfriend etc

Lesson learned: Stay the hell away from grad school and research! Living alone sucks!

With that said, I'll be spending this Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Three Kings Day working in lab without being able to go home or spend it with family and friends.

So, I'm planning on baking a little hen or some small chicken and eating it by myself. Now, I'm hungry and am heading to my apartment but first will stop at McDonald's for breakfast!

Happy Turkey Day MoFo citizens.

What are YOU thankful for?

Thankful for a little cosure on a long battled topic, and thankful that everything went well in that...and I'm also thankful to have found a place to call my own instead of where I had been before. Thankful that I have my net connection after so long, and thankful that I have a small but slowly forming plan for the nect year or so.

Thankful for being alive also...C:

No turkey for Moby though, we don't have any in the cupboards and given that it's the UK, no thangsgiving day in general either. 8D
Next year, however...everything is going to be a different scene!

I'm thankful for so much, but I'll just say, my friends, my family, and even you folks here at the MoFo, who brighten my day with your insanity.

To make a list of all that I'm thankful for would take some time...

Thankful for God, my family, everything that I've been blessed with...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

(Hope things become better Hidoi.)

hmm, I haven't actually thought of this yet.

I'm thankful that I've found such great friends so quickly at college, and also for the friends (and boyfriend) I've got already. I'm thankful for my family, and thankful that I got as much time with my Gran and Grandpa as I did before they passed away. I'm thankful for being alive. Lately I've done a lot of deep and somewhat painful thinking, so I'm thankful for every life. I'm thankful for a lot of stuff really.

We'll probably have chips or something as usual due to the obvious.

I'm not thankful of my work ethic >.<

I'm thankful that I'm not in debt... >.>; And for friends and family and all that jazz. But mainly, that I'm not in debt.

=| @ Aggie. I'll be thinking about you tonight and throughout the holidays. If you ever need someone to talk to, or even just someone to dump what ever you are feeling on, just send me a message.

I've got a lot to be thankful for. I get to spend Christmas with my family, everyone still has their jobs for now. I'm not in financial trouble, I have a nice warm bed to lay in every night. Sure there are things that I wish I had. I wish I had a girl friend, I wish I had more money, I wish that school was done. But overall I live a fairly comfortable life.

I hope everyone here has a Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful that I'm alive, first off, and for my family, even though I don't really see some of my aunts and cousins more than once a year. My friends as well, even if I don't really see them anymore. Hmm... I can't really think of much else, though I do hope for the best for this world, not just the US, now as well as in the future, given current/recent events and such.

I'm actually going to visit my relatives today for Turkey Day, and somehow try to finish a paper due over the weekend. School work over a holiday break kind of stinks.

I'm thankful for a career that continually isolates me thousands of miles away from my friends and family, and doesn't even let me out early on Thanksgiving to enjoy the holiday with the few friends I've made in this sordid burg but instead has me work a full evening shift, 2 to midnight.

Oh wait.

Oh man...so thankful for so much. My parents/family, friends, and being alive and in good health. Sorry about your troubles though,
Hido. =/ Things will get better though, believe me. I'm also so thankful for you guys, as Swanson said. This is my virtual home...most definitely

I'm thankful for every single good and positive thing there is, that doesn't come from being negative in the slightest of bit. I'm also glad that Thanksgiving is a great holiday to celebrate that thanks.
