I mean, are you at the point where you think you're just going to hang it up and leave, or do you wish to stay for a few more years or perhaps all of eternity? I hope to stay as long as this site is active and up. I'll only leave if I get permabanned (I don't think I"ve ever recieved a warning so I don't think that'll happen), or this place dies.

I should've left a long time ago, since I honestly can only give 1 schnitzel about Sonic, (a part inside of me wants Sonic to come back... come back to us

There's still stuff to read here, although it tends to be less & less Sonic-related. Being an old curmudgeon as I am, the games consoles are rapidly out-distancing me, so no new Sonic for me. MoFo is on my list of places to check daily when I have time, though it's anyone's guess whether I'll actually post something.

I wouldn't know. Probably until I get bored of that blue hedgehog. And considering I've been here about 5 or 6 years and have Sonic permanently inked on my arm, I guess I won't be going anywhere.
I left in mid 2004 when I got sick of Sonic. I can honestly say I still dislike him a lot now but I came back. This place is like nicotine or something.
But yah seriously the main reason I stay here is because I made a few good friends (mainly in chat) and it's more of a place to hang out with them rather than worship Sonic or w/e
I mean come on, I met my frigging boyfriend here.
So yah, as long as chat's going in some form (even if it's unofficial) and the people I know are here then I'm staying.
I think I'm the first who might actually give some sort of finite answer? Probably by the end of this summer. I can't see myself actually leaving for good and never coming back, but with life hitting hard and hitting fast, it's gonna be harder and harder for me to keep up and post. It's getting to be that way now with full time college and may-as-well-be-full time job, it'll probably be even more like that when it actually does become a full time job.
But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. For now, I enjoy your guys' company and will continue to post like once every other day. 😀

As of this July, I'll have been here for ten years. So far, my interest in the MF's mostly survived moves, degree courses and full-time jobs, so I'm not about to start putting a finite limit on things.
I can't see myself leaving currently, though I was ready to go a year or so ago when MoFo had lost a lot of it's wackiness for some reason, fortunately I wasn't alone thinking that, and Dub has made up for it in spades with his threads!
This is like my home online. You know, the kind that you leave to go out and find a living somewhere else, but come back for visits once and a while. =D
Honestly? A day, a week, maybe two at most probably. I have this bad habit of phasing in and out of communities - sometimes in repeat cycles - on a regular basis, rarely staying for too long in one place save for small ones where I end up an active participant.
I'll probably prod around, check a few threads deemed interesting, say a few things and then vanish again like I never was here. In my case it's generally the norm. Every so often, Opera gets to bear the blame when the occasional complete computer crash/restart makes it conveniently forget all tabs I had open and I forget to check back to some threads/communities I was watching.
If you'll permit a sidetrack, I have to admit: It's always interesting the few times I remember this place, check back and realize how many regular names there are that are familiar. People like me who appear and then disappear nonwithstanding, this is quite likely the most stable community I've seen as far as retained regulars go, especially for its size. I'm not sure if it actually counts for something, but I'm sure impressed.

I'm kinda similar. I dissappeared for a year or so back in college, but I'll probably be around so long as the URL I occasionally type in brings me back here.
I took a (unscheduled) break from teh internets back in 2006. Being back, I allegedly still work on the site, so... I'm here to stay for the forseeable future. I have no life anyway. 
I reckon I'll always keep coming back even when I disappear for short bursts....or long ones. I've made too many friends and familiar faces here. So maybe when they all leave, I'll be gone. XD
But I certainly hope we stick around.
