Man, I hear you. My birthday regularly marks the first day of spring, and after the crappy weather we've been having recently, I've been looking forward to a higher than 40 degree day.

So when I woke up, WHY THE HECK did I see a thin layer of snow and ice on the ground?!

Been having quite a bit of snow recent weeks here aswell, was rather odd to see it after spring had already done a first kickstart - and offered an odd contrast to christmas when we actually had no snow. It's hardly unheard of, though perhaps a bit early for what I think is normally called "April weather".

I'm a bit curious what it might do to mushroom seasons and soforth if spring and snow keep competing for dominance for awhile. I don't mind it myself except for the occasions where snowfall calls in its friend "strong winds" and decide to murder power cables.

Only had one outage and it was barely a minute long however, so I can't complain too much.

we had snow flurries over the weekend, but nothing that settled on the ground. it's just been the more usual spring weather of sunshine and showers since then. ^^;

California has been lovely with as high as 87 degrees for the past week. =o
