Greedy Hollywood screws over yet another classic Japanese franchise. The lack of effort and even research into the Japanese franchise this movie is evidently based on will obviously cause it to be a box office flop of HIGHLY epic proportions. They might as well rename this crap 'King Of Floppers'. Also, Gordon Chan is NOT an acclaimed action director. I never even heard of him until I saw this godawful trailer. The sheer lolwutness of that trailer was mind-boggling. What in the F***?!?!?! Whoever thought of making this movie is stealing my oxygen and I WANT IT BACK, DAMMIT!

Kyo is no doubt some anglotard, Iori's presence seems to be non-existent (definitely a good thing, since Iori is waaaaay too badass for this movie) and that Asian chick I saw a glimpse of is probably Mai/Yuri.

Yeah, Maggie Q was supposed to be Mai - I guess we only get her hairstyle as opposed to... well, the "rest" of her, and yeah, Kyo is an "anglotard", as you so elequently put it Rishi.
And apparently Terry Bogard is in the movie, aong with Mature and Vice.

Honestly. If they wanted to make a decent movie based on a fighting game, just follow the kinda formula that was used in Bloodsport - introduce us to our characters, explain a bit about what they're fighting for, then spend most of the movie with them beating the crap out of each other in tournament fashion!

like what's been said, you cant even recognize the characters which is alone the biggest fail in the movie and not worth viewing. so i won't even give the movie the chance to explain the story, it sucks right off the cover enough not to watch it.

that's what they did for the dead or alive movie..... it was horrible. it's all about the directer, he makes the movie rise or fall. too bad the good directers come in shot supply and hardly work for game based movies.... with the exception of residentevil and tomb raider.

yeah hollywood has that handicap when it comes to sequels why is it so hard for them? and why do they always go with the stupid idea of "add more"... add more characters, add more action, add more villians, add more jokes.....
just cause it has the number 2 on it doesn't mean it has to be double what the first movie is. that just wastes the idea.
