Canadian funnyman and actor Leslie Nielsen has passed away in hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The star of comedy hits such as "Airplane" and the "Naked Gun" series dies of complications from pneumonia, according to his nephew Doug Nielse, who lives in Richmond...

This utterly sucks...The good ones always just go unexpectedly - RIP, Frank Drebin, We'll be shirley missing you! *Sniffle*

Oh man! ='( I used to love Mr. Nielson on Naked Gun, when I was little. Had no idea he was 84 though. Wow! He'll most definitely be missed. I'm expecting some airtime of the Naked Gun series, Airplane, and everything else he was in.

Heard about this last night. Sad to hear that one of the greatest men in the art of comedy is no longer around. He made good movies great and bad movies bareable.
