Not that I don't like Jason Alexander, but I just cannot see him as Cosmo. I would rather see a Ricky Ricardo lookalike.

No but seriously. Even if it was in it's original format it wouldn't reach #1,but it would probably rake in more money than a live action version. The questing I ask is WHY would Nick spend more money on a live action version of a series that (IMO) past it's prime years ago?
Nickelodeon has announced a live-action adaptation of The Fairly OddParents is in production, and is set to premiere on Nickelodeon in 2011.

I'm not an FOP fan, but I find it a decent show (well, the first three or so season) with an innovative concept behind it, but even I've seen enough of the series to know the horrible derailment the show went through over the years. Usually the creator behind their own franchise is a good thing, but I've learned Butch Hartman simply can't write for his own show. Danny Phantom (which I do watch) attested to that with its last season derailed beyond repair (the cancellation did it good before it could have gone worse) when he got more closely involved, so I have about as much high hopes as a broken toaster. I fear even more if Hartman employs writer Kevin Sullivan to write for him - he was the major writer for DP's third season and recent FOP episodes - he's not good with characterization.
Abracatastrophe is the only Fairly OddParents movie I need! =D

i just know this is gonna hurt, i'm not supporting this 
i wont ever ever watch the movie, who's the bad man that keeps ruining all my cartoon heroes, so many cartoons turned into movies now <hides ran and stimpy in the closet>
