On the evening of Thursday June 19th I'll be driving up to pick up Mike so we can head to IL early Friday morning to hang out with Tricia and Craig.
I'm stalking them on facebook and putting together a plan. It's almost a 12 hr drive for me. Hopefully we won't get any storms or tornadoes like we've been getting here in the past week.

Nebraska... little far for me.... I'm pretty close to the north line of OK.
I wish to come along, but I don't drive. Plus carpooling from New Mexico through Texas 12 hours both ways once a year is enough for me.

Will do. That Geohashing sounds great to me! I'm planning random trips to Africa with people I met over the past week. We're all scattered around the globe so we need to work on coordination lol
I usually travel for conferences and I'm thinking I should start posting where I'm going so I can try to do a MoFo stop during my trips. I know if I ever go to the UK I'll have to add about 5-7 stops to my schedule.
Heh, with the UK, if you hit the right time at the right place, I'm fairly sure you can cut that to one or two...
Well, storms have been sucky up here in Rockford, IL (LIGHTNING HIT MY TREE YESTERDAY!! X__X), so hopefully the trend doesn't continue.
What the hell are you all gonna be doing in IL? o.o There's only a few things you can do... visit Chicago and be a tourist, go to Six Flags, or go to Magic Waters. *shrug* Or GameWorks in Schaumburg. =3 I'unno. Just wondering.
I wanna go see parks and pretty waterfalls plus being a tourist in Chicago doesn't sound bad. I've never been up there. XD
