Nails on a chalkboard or Gilbert Gottfried would have been better than the 4kids Usopp as well.
Krillin's VA seems to do well as Usopp. Zoro and Sanji seem weird but I'm mainly going from the japanese VA's to this. I could only stand maybe 5 minutes of one episode of the 4kids dub that the kids literally forced me to watch. (No, seriously, they held me down. They had to, but not even a combined 160 pounds couldn't make me listen to THAT for long.)
If they redo the previous arcs and release DVD's I will probably buy it. I could get used to eyebrow and shrubman's voices fairly easily.

Funimation acquired not only broadcast rights from 4Kids, but DVD rights as well. They're rereleasing the earlier episodes of One Piece redubbed...and uncut.
I'm missing where it says they acquired rights to the earlier episodes. It just says from 144 on.

That's what they're televising. Funi's re-dubbing and un-editing the first 143 and releasing uncut boxed sets.
No actually there not, yet. They have stated that they're going to release the unedited versions of 144 up only as they have not acquired the rights to the first 143 from 4kids yet, but it seems like they going to release the first half as soon as they do.
Third episode impressions.
Seeing a rifle and bullets warms the cockles of my heart. Further proof that this is not 4Kids!
Hearing 'grave' and 'kill'. REALISM.
Also, yes on Blackbeard's voice.
I liked it too, although the next episode preview seemed to be cut as it went right to the DBZ opening???
CN aired a movie that cut Toonami by two hours. Naruto started like, two minutes after nine. So to make up for that, the episode preview was cut in One Piece.
At least, that's what I assume.
I don't remember exactly but it's also possible it's one of the few One Piece episodes that do not have a preview for the next episode.
Yeah but the "movie" was two Goosebumps specials aired back to back. I believe there was even a Camp Lazlo short in there to balance out the time.
