I have sat during lengthy lab meetings watching all the Chinese playing with pencils. I often wondered if this technique was taught in school as part of their education... I surely never learned it or saw it being performed before.
Alas, the day before my neuroanatomy research paper is due I enter I-am-bored.com and found the answer to all my questions.
Behold, how to spin a pencil! Enjoy, I still can't do it but at least I've wasted a significant amount of my time attempting... XD
LOL... yeah, I can't do this either... although now I might have to learn... damn it Aggie!
OH GOD ITS TOO HARD PENCIL KEEPS FALLING SONOVA--
WHY
DOESN'T
IT
WORK!
"I WAS BORN / IN A CROSS-FIRE HURRICANE~"
dude, PSX, where did you get those first two images? I've been looking for art rips from EBA for a while...
Internet.
AGENT J, HERE!!!
WOOHOO! I did it once. All half-assed, but that's it. My pencil keeps flying across the room. XD
I use a different technique whereby I spin the pen around my middle or ring finger (I can do either, ring is slightly easier) rather than the thumb. Never been able to get the hang out of round the thumb.
lol I kept playing with it. I did it with a pen can't with a pencil. I noticed if I don't look at my hand when I do it, the pen falls less times.
Wow that doesn't really make sense! I'm gonna keep doing it when I'm stuck on my test.
= @ PSX... Where? Google yields nothing =
XD...Noticed this going on in classes since high school, though never figured out how to do it. I think watching the video really helped, but I still have lots of trouble actually catching the pen/pencil. Maybe one day I'll get it working^^;
My Lit teacher does this all the time. I flip my pen in the air habitually, but not that.
