It was overdue...All things must end eventually, right? There's always the repeats!
13+ seasons != "poor" KotH
They had a good run. This will free up Mike Judge for whatever other projects he might have lined up.
I've watched quite a few episodes. I never thought it was that funny anyway.
I'm not surprised. Remember the season 11 finale when Luanne and Lucky got married? That was originally the series finale, then Fox renewed it at the last minute.
Fox has a couple new cartoons on the way (The Cleveland Show and Sit Down, Shut Up); I figured King of the Hill would be the one getting bumped off to make room. Also, Mike Judge has started on a new cartoon, The Goode Family, for ABC.
But yeah, it had a pretty good run. The show comes on, like, four times a day on FX, anyway.
...oh, well if they were going to end it anyway...
Then yeah, it's not that bad! I'll still miss it somewhat, though. There's a lot of episodes I haven't seen, so yeah... re-runs. >_>
Wait, its a comedy? I thought it was a drama. Oh right, reality down here IS comedy. o.o

great 1st CN screws my inner anime fan
...and now FOX goes & punches my inner animated sitcom fan i n the stomach.....Oh well i'll miss you KOH...but sadly u just could'nt compete with FG & Simpsons...oh well.
I never liked that show, anyway.
Kinda though they should've ended it after Peggy's sky diving near death experience. They should've ended it after season six
Update: Starting January 2009, Adult Swim starts at 10 PM Eastern, kicking off with King of the Hill:

This isn't the first time AS has gone after the show; they tried to pick it up back when FX got it.
It had a nice long run and the fact that it gained a couple more seasons after Season 11 is something of a miracle considering how virtually ignored it usually gets. Alas, I will still miss it; it's still a series I enjoy immensely.
Aw. Well just like the other greats there will be re-runs forever. It's probably better that they just end it gracefully instead of it dying a slow death like some comic book I used to read ;D
Hmm, maybe Mike then can do a new Beavis & Butthead! That would be awesome...
A new Beavis & Butt-head?
10 years ago, he'd say no to that, but today, that isn't entirely out of the question. A while ago, he said he'd be ready to do a live-action Beavis & Butt-head. Which is interesting because MTV originally wanted the B&B movie to be live action.
Well, George and Dick will be out on their asses in a few weeks...

But isn't Live Action Beavis & Butthead pretty much Jackass?
Wait there are still new episodes are you sure it is over?

i want to say exactly this, but with the simpsons.
Now that I know the show's been canceled I'll probably watch it more often. Heh.
my last new Hank face is rapidly approaching.
Wait there are still new episodes are you sure it is over?
Never fear, Albino Rapper is here!!!
Fox has officially canceled the series. However, there are still going to be more episodes airing through 2009 or 2010.
ABC has been talking about picking up King of the Hill and airing it alongside Mike's new cartoon, The Goode Family.
Either way, you'll see re-runs of it weeknights at 10 Eastern/Pacific on Cartoon Network!
@hypershadow77 - I think most of us are ready for The Simpsons to end. =/
This makes me wonder how the final episode for King of The Hill is.

I'm not! I wouldn't get sick of it even if it lasted 'till eternity and back!
But he would get bored the second time it got to eternity.
Probably; yeah.
