I agree with Velotix that the MoFo has always been the soul of SHQ. It was the main thing that drew me here after the tSf message board went down.

I did listen to the music and looked at a few of the articles, but I checked the news and q&a sections often and then every so often. However, it was the place I finally learned how to get past the barrel in Sonic 3; so, I thank God for that. I used to check it first everyday right before checking the forums; ah, good times, good times!

I know.  But it and pretty much the entire site went down for a while some time in the early 2000s, which prompted me to come here.

The tSf is pretty much a shadow of its former self.  There's nothing left of it aside from the message board, and there's no archives of what was lost.

as for the site needing an update, maybe that's true i kinda feel sleepy when i go here, cant the backgrounds have sonic X best scenes pictures and be more cartoonish.... also the smiles would be cooler if they were sonic and friends doing funny expressions.

oh something else that would be neat, is if we can collect points by posting or something to buy stuff from the site, like sonic animations or send gifts in an icon like thing that appears under the user's name XD lots of comminuity sites have that and its cool.

Whenever I feel like getting really lonely and nostalgic, I paw through the old pages on SHQ.  Some of these things haven't been updated since I discovered the site ten years ago when I was twelve, I swear.

There should probably be an archive version of the site after this supposed reboot comes out.... though I suppose that's what archive.sonic-hq.net is for. Hell, maybe even put up an archive of the old old version of the site (pre-character in the top-left corner edition) if the code still exists.

Speaking of reboots, is Vec still trying to do that MMHQ reboot with that random stranger?

Considering I'm almost never here (and do nothing more than pay for the domain & server right now), but yeah, Rabid is correct. The "archive" sub-domain is supposed to be for the fact that the "old" site will remain there. Whenever those working on the new site are done, that will be on the regular domain.
