...or however long before I lose interest...anyways questions of the week!

1. Which videogame/literature/film character best represents you and why? We're not talking about looks here but mere personality and character.

2. Come up with your dream home. What will it look like? What will be the layout, the architecture...etc? Where will it be located at and why? Will you have any pets...etc. Be thorough.

3. Which subject in school is your favorite but which one/s are you much better at? And why?

4. What does your online persona look like and why did you choose that look? No pictures, just describe describe describe!

Okaaaaay that's it for now. I'll answer later.

1. Dunno.

2. My dream home would be a located inside a cave in Antarctica. It would be white in colour. I'm not fussed about the layout, architecture, design etc. There will be no pets.

3. I don't go to school anymore.

4. I don't have an online persona.

I'm gonna tackle these one at a time sine I'm at work... I'll post the other answers at some other time.

1. I read way too many books to figure this one out.
2. I have many designs that I actually did myself (yeah OCD) so I'll write later.

3. In school? I hated English and Spanish class unless it was time to read a novel or some literature book. It depends at what point in school you're asking about. Let's see from K-12 I loved history but wasn't very good at remembering everything yet I excelled in Biology and Chemistry. I loved Physics but hated vectors and math so I ended up with a B in undergrad, yet I was good at it just not good enough. In University I loved Physics as well as Organic Chemistry but I sucked at memorizing. Seems I do suck at memorizing things. Same goes for Calculus, I loved filling pages to figure out the answer to a problem but I often forgot to memorize formulas. I did excel in History during University though.

Now in graduate school I love Neuroanatomy and am looking forward to TAing but again the while memorization of tracts and lesion/injury sites is killing me (blame stupid cranial nerves!). I excel in figuring out solutions to experimental designs so I excel in reviewing grants and papers for my boss. (Yeah It's not really a class but sort of a must.) I excel at Genetics even though I don't really like it. I like Immunology but am not very good at all of it, yet excel at Neuroimmunology.

4. Online persona: depends which one. I am a gypsy which can be human or then a squirrel. I started out as a squirrel when I joined the internet about 12 years ago (omg I'm old XD). Why? I love squirrels! They're so darn adorable and smart with long fluffy tails! I also used to have orange hair but with the years I've changed the character's hair to match my own so it ranges in length, style and color between purple, red, and black. Her name is still undecided since I change my name too much. The original name Jackeline Maureen Woodland came from ummm I like Jackeline, Maureen from the mom in Lost in Space and Woodland from a dictionary since I wanted something that sounded naturey-like. HidoiKijo is from cruel demoness in Japanese and it's a joke from my ex. An Ji is my own Chinese name. Joulehane is my magickal name. So yeah her name ranges between what community I'm at the moment. Her style changes as often as mine.
She is a healer and knowledgeable in the magickal arts such as using herbs and reading fortunes. Yay for witches XD Why a gypsy? It's my dream to travel around. She can never be a bard since I suck at singing and playing any instrument. She does play drums (djembe) since my mind is set on learning. She does bellydance since I do. What else? Yeah that's it...

I'll come back later and fill the first two answers.

1. Which videogame/literature/film character best represents you and why?

Goodness knows. Probably some background character that doesn't actually do anything.

2. Come up with your dream home. What will it look like? What will be the layout, the architecture...etc? Where will it be located at and why? Will you have any pets...etc. Be thorough.

OK, depends on how realistic a dream home. When I was younger, some sort of Gothic mansion would have been nice, with bats in the stable block and room for loads of dogs. At least one German Shepherd and one Caucasian Ovcharka (thanks to Jim Butcher for introducing me to the breed); possibly a Newfoundland too. The house would have interesting attics and an oak-pannelled library with a big fireplace.

Nowadays though I realise I hate the countryside with a passion undying (that'll happen when you grow up there and have to ask your parents to take you anywhere in civilisation because the public transport is so rubbish). I would much rather be in the city (right now I live 45 minutes' walk from work, 25 minutes' walk from the main train station and the same time to the main shopping area - and 5 minutes' drive from the nearest cinema), so my current realistic dream home is a 3-bedroom 1930s semi-detached / end-terrace with bay windows. *No* knock through between front sitting room and dining room / back sitting room, thank you kindly (dratted open plan - I am sitting in the lounge which is also the dining room which has a small kitchen along the back wall). Separate kitchen with a door to shut out the smells of spaghetti bolognese from the rest of the house. A small garden so I can sit outside in the sun during the summer (small so not high maintenance) and preferably south facing. As for where, with any luck it will be approximately 1 mile up the road from the flat I'm in now and the garden will back onto some woodland that drops steeply towards the River Avon. The house will therefore have views out across Bristol. Either the back sitting room or the third bedroom will be used as a library. Oh and this dream house won't cripple me financially to buy...

3. Which subject in school is your favorite but which one/s are you much better at? And why?

School is 10 years ago - gosh, 10 years ago I would have been doing my A-levels about now. Nothing much changes, here I am avoiding studying for tax exams... Favourite subject was Spanish which, coincidentally, was the subject I was best at. I studied it from second year to the end of university and lived two years over there. I'm listening to a Madrid radio station at the moment.

Worst subjects would be a tie between PE and Art. I never saw the point of either of them. For PE, we were never allowed to play roller hockey or anything, which would have been interesting. And games were always far more entertaining if you didn't have to faff about with rules. Exactly *why* must one serve overhand from the back line of the court? It makes for a really boring way for your opponent to win. Plus keeping a rally going between you and your opponent is more fun than trying to place the ball all over the court so that you or they keep missing it.

As for Art, I simply couldn't draw, so my art teacher, charming lady that she was, assumed I wasn't trying. Teacher training courses ought to include the concept of "sometimes the child actually has no aptitude for your subject, live with it and worry not, s/he will drop your subject like a hot potato as soon as s/he has a choice".

4. What does your online persona look like and why did you choose that look? No pictures, just describe describe describe!

Are we talking RP here? 'Cos I don't. If we're talking something like Gaia, then for a while mine looked as much like Ace from Doctor Who as I could manage (my hero when I was young). Brown hair in pony tail, black bomber jacket, ghetto blaster (with handy extra functions designed by the Doctor, including the jamming of Cybermen signals), baseball bat (beefed up by the Doctor so that it could be used to take on Daleks and win), Doc Martens and black skirt with black tights. Currently my avatar looks more or less like me.

For bulletin boards, I'm usually a variation on a theme of DarkwingUK, so the terror that flaps is the avatar of choice.

I don't really know the answer to 1 or 2 either, other than I want pets of some kind. Preferably cats I guess. They'll be adopted 😮 Oh and to stay in the UK cause I wouldn't like to be more than four hours away from my family.

Well my favourite subject was always science. Biology in particular. I adored it and if I got the grades for it I'd be in uni doing some kind of Biology degree now. Genetics would be awesome. But alas, interest can only get you so far.

I am much, much better at Art, but my interest at that is strictly at a hobby level, as I discovered at my now-failed Foundation Art and Design course. I failed because my tutors managed to sap any enthusiasm I had for the subject out of me, and I am not the sort of person who can muster up the energy to do something I have no interest in. I stopped turning up, basically.

And I haven't have an online persona for years.

1) Which videogame/literature/film character best represents you and why?

There's a reason my parents called me "Pollyanna" as a kid :3 In more modern pop culture, I couldn't tell you for sure. There are a lot of aspects of different characters that I feel represent little pieces of me. For example, I strive to have the undying kindness and faith in people like Belldandy from "Ah! My Goddess"... but let's be honest. There are very few people in this world who can pull that off all the time, and I'm certainly not one of them. Just ask Craig while I'm driving. XD Other things include Luna Lovegood's quirkiness and eccentric beliefs - but she's too softspoken to truly represent me. I also see a lot of myself in Trucy Wright from "Apollo Justice - Ace Attorney", but she's too naive. ....y'know?

There's no real clean cut answer here, and I think that's the sign of a good question. ^^

2) Come up with your dream home. What will it look like? What will be the layout, the architecture...etc? Where will it be located at and why? Will you have any pets...etc. Be thorough

All right, here we go.

First off, this house has to be in a relatively populated area, or within ten minutes' drive to civilization. And it -is- possible, the way they build stuff up around here. This house has to be on a large property, perhaps on a few acres of farmland (whether or not I use it is my perogative). There must be at least three mature trees on the property near the house for shade, no limits on bushes and flowers. There must be a garage and a shed. The former must be attached to the house, and the latter must be nearby to hold a lawn mower, gardening supplies, snowshovels (snowblower?), etc. The driveway must be paved in some way, whether it's blacktop or concrete doesn't matter. Blacktop would probably be more aesthetic in that environment, so nevermind, I'll go with that. There must be a simple wooden fence surrounding the yard, perhaps surrounding the whole property, ending of course on either side of the driveway.

As for the house itself, I'm a little more liberal. I used to never think I'd be comfortable in a one-story house, but after living in one for almost a year, I've become more open to the idea. If it's just Craig and myself, I'd be content with that, but if we have little ones with us, I would prefer two-story. Basement is necessary either way, preferrably finished (or half-finished). Because Tricia is afraid of teh tornadoes. ^^; The main space should have a high ceiling, perhaps going all the way up to the second floor with a balcony/loft looking over, should have a fireplace and -definitely- needs a bay window (in addition to a thousand other windows... or something more realistic like at least four). The kitchen needs lots of space for cooking, should we choose to do more of that in the future (chances are it'd just be more counter space to put stuff on - which is fine in my book 8D). There should be at least two and a half bathrooms, especially if the little ones exist. And my bathroom needs one of those big corner bathtubs. Because that would be the epitome of awesome. Most of the windows should face south, for maximum sunlight. I would prefer wood flooring throughout, but flat carpets (not the big shaggy fuzz ones) are okay too. And there definitely needs to be a patio or something outside, partially covered (or a pseudo-cover like you find in vineyards - what are those called?). OH. And the house itself has to have wood paneling outside to give it a warm, country feel. Not log-cabin tacky; just a wooden facade would be fine.

I'll finish the last two in a bit, my body demands more sleep ^^;

Ooh, good description, Sage! That reminds me, my hypothetical house would have at least a driveway and preferably a garage (no parking on the road for me, thank you). The house should be carpeted throughout, although what will actually happen is that it will be carpeted in the latest 1970s style and I will have to wait a year to afford to replace those carpets I don't like wooden floors, they gather dust and are freezing in the winter. Nice thick carpet ftw A cellar would rock (I've always wanted one, I suspect because my first best friend at primary school had one in her house where the old sofas and TV went to die and the kids could jump up and down on them [the sofas that is, not the TV] as much as they liked).

1. Hawkeye Pierce from MASH. I have a tendency toward ridiculous sarcasm when speaking with anyone I find in a position of authority over me. There's also my inclination to practical jokes; oftentimes I'm not all that serious. Still, I have a great deal of compassion for people, almost unconditionally, and will put others' welfare above my own.

2. My dream house would have sizable front and back yards. The particular style of external architecture is not terribly important to me, though I am a little partial to a Frank Lloyd Wright design. Past the vestibule at the front door, there'd be a little atrium, colonnaded and with plants on both sides and a little fountain in the middle. Overhead is a sunlight. Upstairs is a bathroom and two or three bedrooms. Downstairs, a living room, kitchen, dining room, and bathroom would all be laid out. At the back of the house is a study that faces the backyard. A basement would suffice for storing the various odds and ends that are associated with domestic living and tend to manifest themselves without you remembering from where they came or how they got there. In the back, a nice deck overlooking the backyard, where the garage is overshadowed by just a few trees (nobody likes trees falling on your property).

3. Pretty much any of the humanities: history, languages, law, philosophy, etc. They're my favourite by virtue of them being my fortes. Trying to separate them is a chore, really, since they're all I take anyway, and they begin to overlap after a certain point. In any case, I detest maths and sciences with a fiery passion. They're so dry and uninteresting.

4. Like 90% of most online personas, I seized upon the franchise I liked best, slapped a recolour on it, and called it original. Well, to be more specific, my persona is a short, crimson hedgehog. His ears curl up and in, a little like devil's horns. Four of his quills at the back are wavy, whereas the ones at the sides and front hang around his face more like hair and bangs. His eyes are a trenchant dark brown. In terms of body type, he's slightly muscular only because he doesn't have that much fat on him; in essence, he's rail thin. At least this much is explicable in that he takes after me, being so slender. The dark eyes are also a trait taken from me. As for the quills, they simply looked good. In his various iterations, I've never really given much thought to why he looks as he does; I just went with whatever looked the best to me at the time. Such is genius.

Okay, now that I've gotten a sufficient amount of sleep, I will continue 😀

3) Which subject in school is your favorite but which one/s are you much better at? And why?

My best subject is music anything. Theory, aural skills, piano, choir, etc. It comes to me very easily and I'm pretty sure somewhere it was hard-coded in my DNA. No matter what I end up doing in life, I will always continue singing and studying composition.

As for my favorite subject? That would be in my junior year of high school, when I had to take a science class and I did not want to take chemistry. So I signed up for a class called "Cosmic Journey", which was a huge class focusing not only on astronomy, but the history of the planets, galaxies, etc. and the people who made the major discoveries and advancements in the various fields that astronomy encompasses. We went out and looked at the sun through a telescope (using the right filters, of course!) and even made our own very basic telescopes, we learned about the phases of the moon and how to tell where you are and what time it is based on that alone. We also learned how to gauge the distance of stars in relation to other surrounding ones.... it was such an incredible class. I would love to take something similar if I could find a course like that at my college. It was just... wow. An experience. (Also, it was the first science class I got a 95% in, if that says anything 8D The second and only other would be astronomy, which I got a 98% in).

4) What does your online persona look like and why did you choose that look? No pictures, just describe describe describe!

Oooo... without going into crazy history, I'll stick only to the account I use to post here.

"Shadowed Spirit Sage" is the code name for my character Cari. When I was twelve (and without an original bone in my body), I decided I wanted to create my own "incarnations" of the three goddesses from the Zelda universe. These days, I've developed all three of them to the point where the only Mary-Sueish thing about them is their origin, and they hardly reference it at this point. Anyway, Cari is the incarnation of Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom. Everything about Nayru tends to be blue and water-like, so of course, Cari is similarly designed. She is nearly six and a half feet tall with long dark blue hair going down to her lower back. As with all important characters in the Zelda universe, Cari has long, pointed ears. She has one piercing in each ear, but tends not to wear earrings unless it's a special occasion. Her skin is very fair and her eyes are a bright sky blue. She always wears a sapphire pendant on a black leather chain around her neck. As for her wardrobe, she's known to wear pretty much anything. She tends to favor a bohemian, hippie look though, with long, flowing fabrics as free-spirited as she is.

You know, it dawned on me that I should have picked a better question for the first one and I haven't answered at all! Go me!

1. I have a real tough time answering this. After some thought, I want to say Ashton Anchors from Star Ocean 2: Good hearted but stuck with the worst luck imaginable. You really have to pity the guy.

2. Okay, first off my home will be (No exceptions) in San Antonio Texas. Screw this Colorado weather. Now, it's a bit tough to describe but I would love my house to be either an adobe style or a Spanish style home. Tough to say. The outside will have grass but quite a few tropical plants and even some succulents out front. Gotta keep up with the theme here! I love dogs (LOVE) but don't think I'd give it enough love so I'd probably have a cat. Maybe two of them, I need fuzzy animals to pet. Now the home...it will have at least 2 maybe 3 bedrooms. There will be a basement but I think that's where some of the bedrooms may be. The entertainment room will be upstairs where the various videogame systems and TV and other devices lay. Oh yes and it better be on the corner lot. Actually I have 3 other ideas for homes I'd consider so I'll shut up now.

3. To be honest, my favorite subjects in school were usually sciences. Well let's leave biology out of there...physics too but the rest I loved. The only problem with that is outside of math, science is my worst subject. I don't know how that worked out considering I've always been a science minded person but me and science classes don't get along. (Probably one reason why I'm not a science major anymore) Perhaps I don't know science that well. As for the classes I was good at? If it wasn't science or math, I could ace it. History, english, art (Even if I'm not an art person), psychology...etc. Just don't ask me to ace a math or science class, ugh. Math can burn.

4. My online persona (which I rarely use) is a young blonde haired boy with tiger ears and a long tiger tail that he can use as a fifth limb (Similar to monkeys). He wears a light blue shirt and a pair of light green paints. He also bears a few stripes on his face and a black mark on his nose. The idea came because...of someone else actually. I used to sport an avatar of Rock Howard and she constructed the little guy from it (Bit more complicated than that but it's long and I'm tired) so it just stuck.
