Wow. I know not everybody here is a football fan, but I feel bad.
And I'm sure the whole team does as well. Your thoughts?
Yes, this is horrible. They still aren't sure of who it was that shot him are they?
I don't think so. o.o
I saw it on the news, and it's honestly really bizarre... i mean, who would do that? I heard that someone broke into his home earlier, like before this happened and left a knife on his bed or something. I mean, wha? And he was apparently shot in the leg, so how does that kill someone? I would think that someone could survive a leg wound, especially an athlete.
This just reeks of oddness.
Well from what I heard on the news, the bullet pierced one of his arteries in his leg, and blood flow to his brain wasn't good.
I know that winning won't make his death just "go away", but I'm rooting for the 'skins this sunday against Buffalo and for the rest of the season. Just like the situation with the Saints and Hurricane Katrina, winning won't make things go away, but it can help heal things, even if only a little bit. Besides, not like my team is going to do anything this season. >_>
All joking aside, I wish everybody in the Redskins organization well and Taylor's family.
I would imagine it wouldn't be hard to bleed out from a shot to the leg; there are a lot of major arteries down there.
That's exactly what happened @ SX
They hit the artery and the poor guy just bled out =
