Don't
let the fact it's CGI worry you. It looks and feels exactly like the
old cartoons, with very fluid animation and great fur rending.
I give it a thumbs up. Completely captures the spirit of the originals m/
More please
I now have wide grin on my face.
Meep Meep! XD
Goddamn, That was brilliant - I want more of that!
Thank you, SV2, for reminding me like the Road Runner and Coyote shorts were my absolute favorite old-school Warner Bros. products.
Thanks for posting - I shall bookmark for later. So WB reboots its old cartoons and doesn't fail? I was going to say that must be a first since the days of Tiny Toons & Animaniacs and then I realised Duck Dodgers exists

You know after watching Space Jam this weekend, I was reminded just how much I miss Looney Tunes. And now seeing this...it's clear to me what my life has been missing. WB...how DARE you take LT off of regular cable.
Yea seriously. I havent seen a LT cartoon in over 5 years. And Roadrunner is my fav, that's pretty danged awesome right there.
Worth looking for the Looney Tunes Golden Collections in the sales. The first two or three are fantastic, although after that they go for the collectors and have more obscure stuff. Mind you, I love hearing early Daffy actually singing "The Merry Go Round Broke Down"
I think there's also Looney Tunes Superstars or something - single disc collections each of Bugs / Daffy / Sylvester. I believe there's a couple of gems like Ali Baba Bunny and the Bugs & Daffy beanstalk one on there. Sadly, they're not released in the UK, so that'll be another import at some point - not helped by playusa.com quietly disappearing...

From what I understand they were forced to take LT off the air by PETA and other groups who claimed it promoted violence against animals...and let the flaming hatred begin!
I'd like to see some more information on that before pouring hatred on WB for giving in to the PETA (who takes those guys seriously?). And animals had been perpetrating violence on each other long before cartoons were ever conceived...but that's how the food chain works.
I saw this vid in theater as a freebie prior to watching a movie. It was a nice mix of modern technology and good old-fashioned dialogue-less humor. This proves that they still know how to do this stuff.
I'd really rather they keep making good quality stuff like this. Sure it's great to look at the classics now and then, but we won't have any new classics unless they start making more - and as proven, they can still do it.
Ah, but why ignore the classics just because they're more than 60 years old? Good on them for making new stuff, but I bet it's partly funded by the originals...
Have the best of both worlds, that's my motto. Or would be, if they'd damn well release Duck Dodgers on DVD... Mind you, I still need to get round to Freakazoid! series 2 and indeed the Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries.

or finally give us Animaniacs Vol 4 ... I need my Ghost of Magellan song
or finally give us Animaniacs Vol 4 ... I need my Ghost of Magellan song
Oh, heck yeah!
"There once was a man, his name was Magellan
A Portuguese skipper, the girls found him cute.
He sailed with five (?) ships to find the East Indies
Then come back to Spain with a bounty of loot!"

Yeah, Warners hate me. It's the only reason I can think of that they would send me a 20% off voucher every year for my birthday for wbshop.com, despite not shipping outside the US. They *know* I'm UK resident :'(
