After seeing that Neo's new avatar is of Francis, I realized I had a fellow Secret Saturdays fan here. So, I'm wondering has anybody else seen the Saturdays, and what do they think of it? If no body doesn't realize what it is, it's a show on Cartoon Network about a family of "Secret Scientists" who study cryptids; creatures such as Big Foot, La Chupacabra, etc.; which are actually real in that universe.
90's cartoons > everything you have ever loved
jk 😛
It's currently the best cartoon I've watched in a while and possibly the best Cartoon Network currently has on air (the only other I watch feverishly is The MisAdventures of Flapjack). Great handling of characters and story arc and absolute clever writing/dialogue. Even the main character Zak is actually likable because the writers have such a firm grip handling both his boyish cockiness and his sensible maturity with great balance; so he still acts like a kid, but doesn't come off as a jerkass, annoying young male protagonist so unfortunately glued to many cartoons. And as you pointed out my avatar, Francis is obviously my favorite character.
I think the only general concern I have for it is the art. Not the 1960's inspired one - that's ingenious, just the way the guy draw feet. I mean, they're ridiculously huge.
You mean like Rescue Heroes style feet?
I've seen most episodes, it's charming in it's own way (I'm not a hardcore fan of the paranormal) and they have Will Friedle, which makes the show even better.
*looks it up* Ah, big broad feet. You had me thinking long GUN Commander clown feet.
