whenever they weren't the plot wasn't an adaption of the comic. It never had anything to do with the old 80's cartoon.

I kinda wish they would continue adapting the comic because further down the line Michelangelo gets some alien princess pregnant XD....Well...she lays an egg anyway. The last I checked the comic was in hiatus.

SAY WHAT!?!

Sounds like Michelangelo to me! Oh, and he seemed like a MASSIVE stoner back in the original cartoon series. Good times! =D

Hahaha! Those kids...they were obviously looking for the turtles. Speaking of turtles...all three TMNT movies will be playing on ABC Family as a part of the 13 days of Halloween. Including the TV premiere of TMNT III. >_> Anywho, I don't think i'll ever be able to watch this Back to the Sewers series. Saturday morning = college football...and I must watch it. Oh well.

I'm a kid of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles era myself as well. So I enjoyed alot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stuff myself while I was growing up.

Theres at least 2 or 3 channels on YouTube that have every single episode of the Turtles 2003 series. So I never worry about missing an episode.

And yes. Michelangelo gets a princess alien lizard preggers and her royal guards/escorts beat the crap out of him and toss him in alien jail. Apparently the other brothers didn't know about this affair. And I think of them is like...a dinosaur right now? I dunno its been so long since I last checked....

Lol. Mikey you go, boie!

Mikey has had quite a few love interests. Even in the 80's cartoon there was that alien girl named....Kala of the Neutrinos
who were recurring characters. Two love interests in the comic (The "Regenta" Seri being one and the most current) and that one sided pointless infatuation Mikey had on Mitsu the warrior girl in the third TMNT movie.

The turtles don't wear their masks all the time (all of which are red in the comics), and the comics have been printed in black and white since the beginning, save for volume 2, and a few special reprints.

Hahah so I am up early today and remembed Back To the Sewers comes on in the mornings so i'm watching it. The episode is titled, SuperQuest and it's where they enter a video game[EverQuest basically LOL] and they dialogues are great. The use of gamer terminology makes me happy. NPCs, pwn, etc. Boy how I love the turtles. LOL Anyone else watching it?

I watch the episodes on youtube. lol

Super Quest is episode 9. Aren't they all the way up to episode 11 by now?

I still think the story is just a cop out to sell toys. But at least BTTS has slightly better animation than Fast Forward did.

The original is still better than BTTS which is still better that FF. BTTS doesn't have that feeling the original has, cartoon-wise.

Yup, I'm that old.

I actually like the new cartoon more than the original. Its hard to explain why. But after a time I just got tired of the Shredder being so incompetent.

You're confusing romantic love with platonic love. D:

Seems Back To The Sewers has long since ended. Was it as good as the fans were hoping? I've heard rumblings that it didn't quite go back to the what made Seasons 1-4 great.

Anyhoo, reason for the massive bump as follows: Turtle Crossover event to air sometime in September for 25th Anniversary. Best of both worlds?

Here's hoping for James "Uncle Phil" Avery returning as the voice of Oruku Saki.

TMNT was created as a farce by Eastman and Laird.

Jaw hits the floor. i want Rob Paulsen !!! Gimmie my Paulsen!!

I think what Ichigo said was true. TMNT was made to mimic or parody Daredevil and some other popular comics of the 80's Then it just turned into its own thing.

The ROTF review was a joke. It's a reference to his first video, where he buzzed about excitedly in the exact same way about the first Transformers, even though he later conceded it wasn't that great.
