Us football fans have to keep tabs on our teams, and one of the best ways is to pay attention to the draft. So, which team are you rooting for and who do you think they'll take?
I'm doomed to be a Falcons fan for life, but hell, Glen Dorsey seems to be a beast of a pick for us.
What about you?
The only football news I know is Chad Johnson fighting tooth and nail to get out of Cincinnati. And as a non-football fan, that's good enough for me. Losing our star wide receiver should do some good in deflating the local Bengalmania.
Soccer is awesome! I used to play it as a kid, kicking that little white and black ball around on the field while trying to score a go-
**An extra walks in off stage and whispers something in Dub's ear. Dub looks confused and then suddenly dismayed.**
WELL THAT'S JUST STUPID. >8(
Hahaha. Falcons fan, eh? My assistant manager is a Falcons fan and he is so torn up about the draft this year that it makes him cry.
As for me? The Bears are effed, (got rid of Jones?!?! NOOOOO), and the Dolphins... well... Marino's still gone.
I'm still hoping Favre goes "LOL JUST KIDDING" and comes back for another season...
My niners pick 29th in the first round this year, so I'm hoping we help address our DL,WR or OL with that pick. Either of the three are much needed and will be fine with me.
I'm a Giants fan, so I'm still feeling pretty happy.
Positions that need aid: Linebacker, Cornerback, Safety, Wide Receiver
Positions that could benefit from aid: Defensive Line, Offensive Line
Positions that are secure: Quarterback, Running Back
Positions of need: OL (Our O-line was just awful...), DE/DT (John Abraham is awesome when he's healthy. That doesn't happen much. Plus, we haven't recovered from losing Kerney and Rod Coleman gone means we have the worst D-line in football...), LB (I thought our Line-backers played decently during the first half of the year, but not so much in the second half. And they're getting older too, not exactly the youngest of Linebackers.), CB (Traded away D-Hall, and he was our best guy on the Secondary. But its young, so that's a positive I guess. <.< ), S (Same as CB.), TE (Released Alge Crumpler, worst move ever since the Favre trade if you ask me. Pro Bowl TE with no history of trouble = wtf???)
Positions that could benefit still: WR (Roddy White had a breakout year, proving he can be a number 1 WR, but Micheal Jenkins isn't exactly stepping up either. Laurent Robinson is improving, but it couldn't hurt to look at a WR in the latter rounds.) QB (I say we don't need one in round 1 because Chris Redman played some really great games at the end of the year for us barring that Buc's game. AHHH I will never forget that one, including the fact the finally returned a kick for a touchdown on us. I hate TB. I hate TB. I hate TB. I hate TB. Even more than New Orleans and Carolina, both of whom I hate with a passion. But it couldn't hurt to invest in a QB on day 2.)
Positions that are secure: RB (One of the few positions that are secure. We have Turner the Burner and Jerious the Furious as our backfield, but it doesn't help we have a crappy o-line). K (Jason Elam is a good kicker, and now Morton Anderson will retire as a Falcon and hopefully we will have a HOF player as a Falcon. Hopefully. <_< )
The Falcons are a mess if you couldn't tell. And Jin, the Bears are in a much better position than Atlanta. Just get a half-decent QB and you'll win 10 games at least if that defense is healthy. I mean, the only QB I can think of that's worse than Rex Grossman would be Joey Harrington (And trust me, he played for us, so I know how bad he is.)
