Wow, it actually looks kinda cool.
GO BONO!
I'm still waiting for a Batman musical.
Ahh yes. The super hero without super powers, who still kicks ass.
But... I think 'Turn Out the Dark' means 'Turn Off the Dark'?

And so it does. *quickie edit*
Rayzor, you just made my day with that video.
That topic was before my time GT and Batman Beyond, you should be ashamed of yourself.
I disagree Swanson. At most it was a surprisingly good execution of a terrible idea. Also it gave lots of furry fuel.
Yes, but when you watch the masterpiece that was Batman: The Animated Seires, you can't help but feel let down by it's successor.

You're quite welcome!

Well, I watch both B:TAS and Beyond and enjoyed both about equally. Of course, considering Beyond came 5 yrs. after B:TAS, I probably forgot alot of what happened in the original.
The Brave and the Bold is kinda... babyish though. DEFINITELY geared towards the kiddies.
It's geared for those who enjoy campy Super Heroes.
That show has the only good portrayal of Aquaman. EVER.
You didn't like Angsty McHookforaHand? But he was full of angst! And had a hook for a hand!
He was also shirt less, and I don't like my Aquaman when he looks like Burt Reynolds with a hook hand.
Like I said in the Brave and Bold thread on the BumbleKing Forum, I think B&B has a nice mixture of campy and dark. While it doesn't have quite the dark edge of B:TAS, it's not as campy as the 60s live action show. I think maybe 60% dark, 40% campy, or something like that.

BLAH! GRAH! 10 YEAR OLDS!
In other news, what everyone else said. B&B is the equivalent of a Sonic fan with power going "Listen, the 90s era of Sonic were awesome. These characters you dropped were awesome and were never given a mainstream chance in the limelight that they should of. They have lots of now older underground fans. And I am going to prove that this golden era is better than the modern angsty skater version." and making a retro cartoon show based on that time, complete with references and cameos galore. A show where Fang the Sniper, Bean and Bark, and Mighty and Ray would take center stage and get lots of screentime doing awesome stuff. Kinda like the Archie comic now does from time to time. THAT is B&B.
To be honest, I've never really SEEN B&B, but all my friends say its for babies, there are always 4 year olds in the toy commercials, and it's got the same animation style as most lil' kid shows.

Well, to be honest, any cartoon that has a general appeal, like Avatar, is going to have toys and have about 4 yr. olds advertising it to market it to the kiddies.
Yeah, I guess there were 4 year olds in the Dark Knight commercial, even though that movie was adult...
That sort of aggravates me, that sort of thing. It really is not fair to those kids who read the books, and go "Hey! This looks cool!" Then go see the movie, not only NOT getting what they expected, but getting material that should NEVER be seen by them in the first place. It makes me kinda mad.
I've seen those at Walmart. ^^
And by your original logic, Dark Knight is for "kiddies."
No, I said B&B is for kiddies.
PLEASE tell me at least one of you has seen the Music Meister episode yet.

New York (CNN) -- A performer was injured in a fall during
Monday night's performance of the stage musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off
the Dark," according to a representative of the show.
Christopher Tierney, 31, is listed in serious condition, said Bellevue Hospital spokesman Steven Bohlen.
Jonathan Dealwis, a tourist from New Zealand who was in the audience, said Tierney fell "about six meters," or about 20 feet.
Reeve
Carney is the actor who plays Spider-Man, but nine people perform
Spider-Man's stunts when the character is masked, according to show
spokesman Jaron Caldwell.
Dealwis said the accident happened near the end of the show.
"Spider-Man
was on a bridge, and Mary Jane was dangling from it," Dealwis said. "I
think he was meant to sort of swoop over there, but he just fell off.
... The harness, you could see it just flick off his back and fly
backward."
Afterward, Dealwis said, "it just went
black, and the producer came on and said we're going to pause for a
moment. You could hear Mary Jane weeping."
A producer then came
out and said the show was over, Dealwis said. Some people "clapped
awkwardly," and one girl "laughed mockingly," drawing "disapproving
glances" from others.
Dealwis said the performer was wheeled away in a neck brace and was alert when he was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
So yeah. People are getting hurt. Many people.
