It seems as though I missed the early notifications for this - again.
No venue as yet, so whether or not it'll have the same capacity problems as last year's inaugural event remains to be seen - but Summer of Sonic is returning to London this summer.
The date is slated in as August 29th. I'm very possibly not going to be able to make it, because I've a LARP event booked for that weekend and I'm not sure if I could financially afford to slope off for a few hours - but I wondered if anyone here would be interested.
Note also that is the bank holiday weekend, if that makes anyone's plans easier. Or possibly harder, given Network Rail's predilection for doing essential maintenance work all bank holiday. I particularly liked Metro's article today on a journey from London to Milton Keynes by train that would require you to go via Crewe, Derby & Stafford...

Ugh, network rail. Getting back from bristol on monday, which was supposed to be a single change had me change at wolverhampton, stafford and stoke. Bah.
Anywhom, I doubt I'll go for this, maybe if I have a day off and there is capacity I might go on a whim, but other than that...
