Ok. Three young adults came to my door, asking to
buy/rent my family's house. However our house was never for sale. Turns out someone is using my father's name on craigslist to sell our home.

We
just recently got this house last year. The three gave me the article
they printed out and walked away. It calls my father a "pastor" and
that we are moving to West Africa for missionary work so we don't need our empty home
anymore and are looking to sell it.

So somehow, we are now involved in a scam. To top it off, the email address is from the UK.

Incredible! You don't want to post a link to the ad, do you, or would that be a breach of privacy? Because I kinda want to see it.

Wow, that scam is thinly veiled. How could anyone fall for it?

Then again, people fall for Nigerian scams, so...

Actually, it should be more like trying to report this to the proper authorities so he can be arrested for some sort of crime...

I mean, if the scammer is/can be actually found. Because using someone else's name for ill intentions and whatnot is identity theft.
