Sadly, I have only seen part of one episode of that series. (I don't watch TV much now that I'm in college (plus I don't get that channel), and, when I'm at home, my parents usually watch what they want to watch (typically not cartoons).) However, I have read the first two Dragonlord books (The Last Dragonlord and Dragon and Phoenix), which have to do with people being able to turn into dragons.

Yep, that's right! I'm also a Star Wars fan, although my view of Darth Vader has been somewhat corrupted by something my dad said:
(I'll put it in spoilers in case you don't want to risk losing whatever view of him you currently have!)
Spoilers (Select To Read): My dad made a comment about the way Darth Vader reminded him of one of those pull-string toys, where you pull the string, and the toy says some preset phrase. (i.e. Darth Vader: *OBI WAN HAS TAUGHT YOU WELL*) Add on to that the fact that Darth Vader's suit has a CONTROL PANEL on the front of it, and he fits that description perfectly (instead of pull the string, it's push the button on the panel)! Ever since my dad said that, I can't watch the fight scenes (or even think about them, for that matter) in the origianl episodes without struggling to hold in my laughter!

I was at first surprised you knew about the "newbie eating" welcome but when I read your mention of you looking around for a while before posting (even though it was because you couldn't) it made more sense to me.

Similar thing with the subjectline, when I read "the infamous" I thought it was someone who had read a lot of "I'm new" threads and was commenting on them, as opposed to someone who was introducing themself. Well, since you read posts before posting, I guess a little bit of both would happen to be true, huh? Man, now I feel rude for not giving the newbie a gift. You can have, er, some trapkits. I think I gots an Average Fire Trap Kit and possibly a couple Acid Splash Trap Kits. I dunno. Bastard shopkeepers won't buy 'em, though (think they're stolen - dunno where they got that idea), so you can have 'em.

Oh and SX, do not fear Crimson and his omnipotent Boxers of Love. Give into him, you know you want to. ;D Submit to his every whim and will!

Greetings, newcomer. I'm the head of the now-expired newbie "welcoming" society, but I like to revive the old traditions from time to time...
(Places the newbie in a flying pan over a high flame, adds eggs and nails the lid on, then seals the whole in concrete and feeds it to a shark)

*is surprised that she's not burnt to a crisp from the high flame...(the lack of air in the concrete must have put it out)*

*realizes that lack of air = no oxygen...* MUST GET OUT!!!

*struggles to stay calm...what to do, what to do!*

Duh! That's what my inventory is for!

*uses acid from acid splash trap kit to burn way through pan and concrete*
*manages to get out of shark* (maybe shark doesn't like concrete and metal and burnt eggs...or was it me?)
**shark attacks**

That's some good inventory usage right there. I could learn something from you. I mean, I always have goodness knows what in my pack and yet whenever I come up against something I just hit with my sword. To be fair, you can solve like nine problems out of ten by hitting it with swords, but there's always that one time where hitting it with swords just won't cut it, y'know? I should try seeing what crap I've accumulated more often; never know what I might find.

Anyway, yeah. If those trapkits are stolen from anywhere, it woulda been from a dungeon or something, and those are totally meant to be looted so 's all good. I think there might be a sonic trapkit in there somewhere too, btw.
