No, you thought it silently.
Unfortunately, in text-based situations, that is just as bad.
*throws tak into his flame-free hole* SAVE THE KITTENS! o-@
Huh?! I'm a HE...Since when? (O.o); *Pads herself down just to check she is still female*
*Because the wrong gender was stated nothing evil happens* Mwahahaha
*hides up a tree, armed with waterbombs*
Hmm. Waterbombs.
Hmm. A fiery pit of doom with a hole conveniently under it.
Hmm. A spork in Becca's hand.
I'm seeing a con-neck-shun!
(when i'm not fully sure of someone's gender online, i mentally allocate them a male gender when typing. cc; sorry!)
*waves her BIG spork* o_o

Why was I the exception?
well, your name does sound a bit feminine.. it's not always easy to guess genders on the internet unless they make it really obvious.

Somehow, that still doesn't make me feel better. >:(
well, i'm sorry.. what else can i say?
Happy second epic mofo welcome topic anniversary Ari! ^_Q
Where's the cake?
Wow, two years!
And Chao, don't worry, there are worse things on the Internet than being guessed at being a girl. And I imagine Becca is as embarrassed as you are about the misunderstanding.
Maybe, my sarcasm wasn't exactly established. ;o
There was some seriousness to it, but it was more of a jokingly way. Sorry for the offense.
No problems XD reading back over your post after realizing you weren't being serious gave me a good chuckle.
XD, don't worry about it CRC. It happens to everyone.

Tergonaut
Okay, ma'am.
XFD, nice one Chao. ^5
BAM! That is a nice one, especially due to Samus Aran being a girl, and yeah, and ROFLcopter!
X3 Nearly any Metroid-tied joke is going to get a chuckle from me.

Lol..No worries at all I usually put in my signature that I'm female s o people know 😛 But I haven't go a sig yet ;__; I'm not used to ezboards (^^);;
*feels sigless*
*Finds a waterbomb to throw at the next person who walks under the tree*
And you may not have time to get used to the EZsystem - they're converting everyone over to Yuku eventually.
Yeah, that sucks bigtime. Are they still going to put lots of ads on us still?
Wow, that was a long Christmas break (though it always seems to go by so quickly^^; )! Just got back on campus earlier this week, and Spring semester is underway.
Guess Im a bit late, but thanks for the Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah/Happy MoFo Anniversary!^^ I hope everyone enjoyed the Holidays as well!^^
*looks around to see what else she missed, unknowingly headed towards a certain tree*

OMG IT'S PANCAKE DAY!!!!! *steals becca's broken pancakes* hmm ^_Q
for those not in the know: www.bbc.co.uk/food/news_a...eday.shtml
argh, the supermarket was out of batter mix when i went there today. ;--;
plain flour + milk + eggs + sugar ?
i never get it right.. they taste wierd.
the freind i was going to ask to make them for me has had to go into hospital.. so i'm rather worried as well as pancakeless. ^.x;
I hope your friend is okay o.o
As for pancakes, I once managed to set off the smoke detector while trying to make pancakes when I was younger. It was supposed to be a surprise breakfast for my parents, andwellguess it did get the surprise part, anyway, since they woke up from all the noise^^;
(edit: Didn't know "panacakes" was a word, or at least the spell checker on Word decided not to catch it! *fix*)
XD
*Aripounce*
*Aripounced!*^^
see? this is where you're lucky. i heard in america that you not only get to eat pancakes for breakfast, but things like muffins and waffle-shaped pancake things too.
those are desserts over here. ;-;
i'm going to go and try to make some pancakes now, i bet i make a terrible mess of it again. (yes, my freind is out of hospital now, thanks. ^^)
By the reactions of Becca, do all Brits treat Pancake day like some serious holiday.? o.o
it IS a serious holiday.. haven't you heard of shrove tuesday? google it. ^^ it's the last day before lent. (not that people get a day off work or anything for it, but it is a part of easter)
my pancakes tasted very odd.. i think i used too much oil in the pan for the first one and made them too thick. ^^;
I wish I was British.
*adopts SX* now you are! ^^
Pancake day was madness in my house. We put the muppet in charge, this was a mistake.
We ended up with him putting oil in the batter (!?) and trying to cook them in a pan with vertical sides (Good for shape, bad for... everything else) I then proceeded to show him how it was done and produce the most awesome pancake of the night.
Then despite having enough ingredients for about 70 gazillion, we couldn't be arsed to cook any more ^^;
make some extras and send them to me! 😛
Awesome. Now I have an excuse for always accidentlly using British spellings on schoolwork. >>
What the US call pancakes aren't the same as what we'd call them in the UK anyway. Our pancakes're more like your crepes. 🙂
What are crepes? No seriously, I thought they were French or something!
They're delicious.
crepes are french.. you can get really big ones all folded up and sprinked with the topping of your choice. ^.^
(becca tip, they're a safe thing to eat when in paris! just don't buy sweet chestnuts off street venders, half the nuts will most likely be rotten.)
but our pancakes are pretty much the same as their crepes. they taste best when really thin. ^^
