So i'm sure someone here has atleast read the comics, if not watched the premiere last night. While many of my friends and myself included, thought the show[never read any of the comics so I didn't know what to expect] was going to be super lame going by the previews, I checked it out last night. My oh my. I've got a reason to stop playing SSFII on Monday nights, now. The Middleman's got such witty humor and fast talking teammates in the two leads that I could watch this show everyday. But for those that did watch the show...what did you think about it? for those who have no idea what i'm talking about, i'll provide you with a link.

Hate to double post. And in my own topic nonetheless[how lame is that lol], but The Middleman is near its season finale and they need viewers to keep it alive for the second season. And like...I know alot of people would like the show[they're tons of references to Star Wars, Star Trek, Ghostbusters, bad zombie movies, etc] so could you please check it out Monday night at 9pm[central standard time]. It would really mean alot to me and my fellow middleman fans across America. We SO want a second season. So be sure to check out the link I posted above if you want to know more about the show. I always came into this thread but, knowing absolutely nothing about what The Middleman was, I never replied. I mean... there's a comic book series? Really? Anyways, I don't watch much TV anymore save whatever I can catch on Adult Swim (I still haven't seen Reaper). Prime time just doesn't interest me as much as it used to.
But enough about me. So, considering the state of affairs I'm guessing the show was never renewed? That's always a bummer... to get into a show only to discover there's not enough interest to keep it going past one season (jeez, even Kyle XY got a second season).

Heh! Yea...I suppose it would've been helpful if I had posted some links or something[because ABC Family's didn' say much]. But yea...didn't get renewed. Really sucked. If you happen to be a netflix subscriber...you should totally put these on there man. As for Reaper...oh man! That show is golden. Only caught like two episodes though, but it's wonderful. I hear ya on primetime TV though. That's why MM was such a big hit for me I think. Something good + primetime. Wha?!
I'll probably be importing it when I get a bit of spare cash, since I know somewhere that'll sell it for GBP16. In the meantime, I'm still on the lookout for the third volume of the comic...
I guessed within a couple of episodes that it'd almost certainly be cancelled, because it was just so gleefully geeky for any slot, let alone primetime - but at least we can still pass around as much as they made. I'll just have to wait impatiently for the comic continuation that's in the works.

! Yays! Yea I saw on Facebook[Neal if you didn't know] that you were a fan of the series. But yea I figured it would get canceled too, it's just so perfect for us geeks of the world. As far as the comics go, though...I picked up volume 1 afer seeing a few of the episodes. Now I want to get the rest of them[including the recently released episode 13 comic tie in]. As for importing the Dvds...when is your birthday Sam? 😛
