My anticipations for the movie have risen greatly.
Saw the suit yesterday.
I'd hit it.
I am impressed that the internet have yet to find serious complaints to make.

Well, considering the movie features Robert Downey Jr, Jon Favreau, and f***ing Stan Winston, I've been assured of this movie's quality.
This...is another absolute must-see for me 
I'll probably watch it anyway, if only for the possibility of getting ideas to further the design of the omni-suit.

Ultimate universe is a completely different universe, and seeing how this film isn't based on Ultimate Iron Man, this shows that the people who make these movie's don't actually read any comics ever.
I don't think any filmmakers care about continuities and such when it comes to adapting comics to film. I believe they stray within their own universe, borrowing some elements from various other comics. Hell, Eddie Brock in Spider-Man 3 was loosely based off his Ultimate counterpart, and Galactus used his Ultimates name (Gah Lak Tus) in the FF sequel.
In any event, I'm not really an Iron Man fan.
That being said....
Suit doesn't look too bad. But yes, movie quality and Suit quality are two different things.

...seriously though, just because they're basing Nick Fury off the Ultimate Nick Fury doesn't mean they don't know who he is or read the comics, it could just be that they prefer that version of the character.

I refuse to pay money for a movie about the guy who has decided that removing New York from the map is a viable way of stopping The Hulk.
Noting The Hulk only wants 4 people, 1 of which is Tony, that is villainish degrees of selfish.

In the latest Iron Man comic he's currently captured on an alien ship (speculated to be Skrull, though very possibly the Warbound's), he used his link to the Iron Man armour to okay the use of a contigancy he has set up which will blast New York into the Negative Zone.

I know nothing about Iron Man except War Machine refers to him in a victory phrase in MvC. O_O No no I know a little bit, but I know I was telling my dad about this movie. Except for Spidey 2 and LotR games, all movie tie-in games suck. Anyway, I like the suit. It's cool. But can anyone else list all the dickish things Iron Man has done.

Relax, like most western games by SEGA these days, it's being made by one of those subsidiaries they seem to have a lot of, Secret Level. I don't know if that's a good thing though, I've never played any of their games. '_'
However judging from that trailer, the combat is a bit of a snore. I don't know what Ironman's powers are but I can't say I was impressed by what I saw there. Meele combat looked lame as hell.
I never knew there was such animosity towards Iron Man. I knew he never struck me as the most heroic guy but darn!

Panel 2: Sending Bruce into space is ok. Fair enough... what this panel doesn't mention is that he ripped her from her job as lawyer and forced her to live on the SHIELD helicarrier forcing her to round up Hulk's old enemies so that he could find a gamma killing nano which he eventually used on her... AFTER SLEEPING WITH HER. All while flat out lying about her cousin.
If he were an honourable man he would at least have tried to explain the situation to her. She's a lawyer and not prone to outbursts of violence unless provocked, there was no reason to lie. She is now suing him.
Panel 3: The reason why Peter felt confident giving away his identity is because he lived at Avengers Mansion. Iron Man not only kicked him out... but punched him through a wall, branded him a criminal and had the Thunderbolts track him down for THINKING that registration was a bad idea.
He didn't actually join the anti-reg group, he didn't even revoke his registration. He just thought it was a bad idea after seeing heroes being locked away for life without trial... Tony's reaction. Punch through a wall, brand criminal and attempt to kill/capture.
Very heroic.
Panel 4: To be fair, Clone Thor was Reed and Pym. Nothing to do with Stark.
Panel 5: Buildings crushed by Stilts-Man: 50. Buildings destroyed forever when Stark blows up New York to save his own arse: thousands.
Panel 6: Bush hasn't attempted to blow up New York because he doesn't feel like being noble. Therefore Bush is better than Stark.
Wow, Iron Man is the biggest dick of all comic book history.
