Oprah is getting her own TV Channel, and it will replace the Discovery Health Channel. I liked that channel.
Obviously Oprah is the new key to your health. May the world's future one and only leader brainwash us on her new channel with ease.
Seriously though... ugh.
No more random surgical shows for me Unless there is an Operating on Oprah program.
Court TV is gone too. Its now "TruTV"
Its just like how WB and UPN were changed to CW a while back. Even Kids WB will be wiped from existence this year. Not that I like what they are doing now, or even care to watch current Saturday Morning cartoons anymore, its the memories of what it once was. Heck, the water tower will be gone, the only remnant of Animaniacs's impact on the block.
We already have one Lifetime channel, we don't need another.
Watch Oprah channel on the first day and find a set of keys to a BRAND NEW CAR under your chair!!!
Channel destruction seems weird to me, is there a finite amount of channels there can be? I always thought they could just keep adding and adding and adding.
Y'know I would actually like a Letterman channel, with Letterman at the desk 24 hours a day. Even if he was sleeping I'm sure I would still laugh. And they can always fill it in with an hour or so of will it float, hosted by grinder girl and hoola hoop girl.

Yes, Gary, we are in Paris...
man this'll suck... look at her eyes they look so tired... the makeup ppl could barely fix her up...
That's not all @ Steevy. We've had Oxygen, We, and even the Lifetime Real Movie Network floating around in the oceans of TV estrogen as well D= When is there going to be an influx in the hardcore porn channels?
Eww.

There's only a finite amount of bandwidth through which to transmit data. Naturally technologically advances mean that the bandwidth of cables is increasing all the time, but of course for the time being we're stuck with what we've got. Therefore if there are too many channels to transmit over a cable line or broadcast, companies might think to replace or consolidate channels to try new ideas or reduce costs.
Oprah Winfrey Network'd
Turtle Guy won tHe thread. lol.
