Ok, Pokemon kind of deserves to be on there.....

I think the list may or (or may not be) biased. I mean, where's "Fairly Oddparents"? That show really does stink. How about "Space Ace"? Bleeegh. And I don't think I need to get into the inclusion of "Transformers" on this list, since most people on this board are fans of it.

Anyhoo, opinions? And what shows would you add to this cesspool of steaming crap?

For one, I'd take out Transformers. Just because.

Also, I expected the list to be, oh, I don't know, a little bigger.

The worse cartoons I ever watched were: Angela Anaconda and Fatdog Mendoza (But that had a cool opening theme). They were just odd for the sake of being odd.

I liked the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. :( That is all.

It's nice to now I'm not the only one who dislike FOP (Yes, I know it's an irony because I like Butch Hartman's other show: Danny Phantom...a lot, infact, but still, different genres). And I agree on the Pokemon list, though I can still watch Kanto and Orange since they had some specific amounts of development before it got grossly tedious by Johto region.

Let's see...bad cartoons:

Game Over: Remember this short lived--VERY short lived cartoon? That was a bad execution from the start.

Father of the Pride: Okay, it wasn't necessary bad, but everyone seems to treat it like it's a cult classic--I see it as another lame execution of the dsyfunctional family, just with CGI lions...and bad, unfunny jokes.

Err...durn, that's all I can think off, right now, that is.

Yea saw this on my homepage. Pokmon I can understand, as you all have said...but 13 ghost and Transformers?! Come on. And I actually hated Angela Anaconda as well John...until I watched it. =P That show was brillant, IMO.

FOP, SaTaM, Ed Edd and Eddy...those are just a few I'd want added to that list. But Goof Troop? I thought that was actually pretty funny...

Silly contraversy. This list was made specifically to annoy or because the journalist just hates 80's cartoons.

Worst Cartoons Ever?

Anything Scooby-Doo related, old and new, The Legend of Zelda cartoon, Sheep in the Big City and just about every new cartoon currently shown on television.

Except Foster's, Avatar, DP, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, 90's Batman, and the Eds. And PPG. :>

I stopped watching Pokemon when the voices changed. :<

Beats me. The show was still the worst thing I'd ever seen.

The sheep puns still haunt me to this day. o____o;

Hmm...Bad cartoons, eh?

Let's put everything that was created for Jetix (Pucca? More like Puke-A!) on that list. In fact, let's put any American or European anime-imitation crap on that list.

Goof Troop (and any Disney cartoons before 1996-ish) do NOT deserve a spot on that list. Neither does Sonic SatAM. Sonic X deserves a spot on that list, though.

About Pucca:
Do you mean the Canadian-produced animated series or original online flash shorts brought to you by Vooz?

And I assume you mean the dubbed version of Sonic X there.
Chris Thorndyke's, Cream's and Vanilla's voices were the worst.

Toss in Xiaolin Showdown, the new incarnations of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and that new show Wayside, and we have a deal. 😀

Let's see here, Pokemon, just about everything on Nick, Cartoon Network shows never sparked to me as anything other than "bad". A lot of English dubs come to mind also.

Uh... The voices didn't change, persa. I believe that they used an equalizer or something. They're still the same voice actors.
Pokemon must, most definetily be on here. The show was bad from the start. But it was enjoyable in the beginning, but it just went downhill when Johto season came along.

I loved Xiaolin Showdown. It was the best show, eva. I'll leave it at that.

The Vooz ones were great. They just killed it when they started to make a series out of it.

Let's not forget to add Ben 10 to that list. The alien plots in that show are all fake.

Yes, those fictional plots on a fictional television show about a fictional boy who can magically become fictional monsters sure are FICTIONAL.

When Nintendo took the license from 4kids the voice actors all changed, though the new ones are attempting to sound like the old ones. No one can replace Eric Stuart and Veronica Taylor, though.

I was the best show, eva. I'll leave it at that.

I've never seen an episode of "ChaoRcute" but I doubt you are the best show ever.

-

Also, FoxKids used to air some like MEGA super crappy minimalistic manga art show where everyone's faces looked like donkey heads and was all about some rude baby.

That is possibly the most intollerable cartoon which I've been forced to sit through.

Anything with Scooby Doo on it needs to be in there (oddly enough, 13 Ghosts had one redeeming feature in that it sort of had Vincent Price in it)...for that matter almost everything done by Hanna Barbera back in the time when cartoons had to have a moral to each episode (Yogi's Ark, Smurfs, Snorks, the list goes on), take OFF Transformers, replace it with Thundercats, add Shin-Chan (seeing as anime evidently applies), 12 oz Mouse, Tom Goes to the Mayor (do these two even count as animation?), and every animated piece of ---- Disney made that was made to be a sequel to things that didn't need a sequel (i.e. Cinderella 2/3)

Some of the suggestions for inclusion on that list are just mind-boggling and are more of an indictment of the person nominating the show rather than of the show itself.

I mean, c'mon. 'Shin-Chan'?! 'The 4Kids TMNT'?! The hell you say, sirs. The hell you say.

The first season was very excellent (as well as the concluding two part episode in the Season Two). Great story and characters (especially Jack Spicer), but in my opinion, Season 2 and 3 just never reached the heights the frst one did.

Season 2 was ruined by Chase Young's appearance and too much focus between him and Omi enough that they seem to ignore all the other characters (not to mention reduce Jack's role and demeanor) and Season 3 was just asinine. I dare say Chase Young ruined the entire show for me.

Seems a bit harsh to have Transformers on the list, for its time it was actually a good cartoon and while its showing its age now (I have it all on DVD and I'll admit I cringe often while watching it) it certainly seemed to have a lot more effort put into it than most modern cartoons do.

As for my own picks, its hard to say from what I remember of watching the Robocop cartoon that was pretty poor, the One Piece dub was terrible too, especially some of the edits(although undubbed its actually a pretty good show).

What Generation X childhood was complete without a shelf full of Aerialbots? But have you seen "Transformers" recently? Or even in the past 10 years? Grown-up fans can find the series disappointing: nothing but slow car chases, bland explosions and the ear-piercing voice of Starscream. In this millennia-long war, characters never seemed to die, they just disappeared --

For those of you that don't think that Transformers should be on that list, read the article again. He/She is saying that it's not what it used to be. The new series wasen't as good as the 80's version was. That when comparing the two, the new one just makes the 80's version look bad.

Indeed Neo, Chase Young ruined XS. For nothing else, then the huge gapping plot-hole of when Wuya was trapped in the box, though she'd been so de-powered by the finale I nearly didn't care. I'd also like to know how he kept drinking the soup even after Dojo escape. How many dragons did Reptile Boy eat? XS needed a new villain but Chase was not it.
I'd like to nominate Rainbow Brite, David the Gnome, the Snorks, Dora the Explorer (and it's edutational ripoffs), Squirrel Boy, Kids Next Door (after they lobotimized poor Wally and made Star Wars puns ever other episode) and Rugrats All Grown Up.
I liked Goof Troop. Max was fun before he went to college and became a jerk (and they erased any devolpment from the first movie, which I still say was fun to watch. I've actually been on family road trips with lame Possum Park-esque stops. Animatronic puppets need to be destroyed, as well as those who buy them.)

To be honest, I liked everything about Generation One over the newer cartoon releases. The characters, the story, the animation, and oh, did I mention the characters?

i liked gooftroop, but as far as xialon showdown goes...bleh it had like maybe two semi passable crap plotlines, the rest was just *filler*? i wouldn't even call it that. i only watched the show when there was some semblance of plot. granted i didn't watch 70% of the series.

pokemon definately deserved to be on that list. the kanto season was the only good one. but Now it's like ash has won like 15 world competitions, and since he kinda passed up the "gotta catch em all" goal, it only leaves you wondering. what are the qualifications exactly for becoming a pokemon master? seriously cuz after ten seasons you'd think that the main character would've accomplished his goal.

AW COME ON! Goof Troop? They adre put Goof Troop on that list, but not BONKERS?!? For shame! ><;;

But wait. Since when was Max a jerk when he went to College? He realy wasn't a jerk in 'A Goofy Movie', just upset that he father didn't see him as a grown teen, and not a little kid. Harsh at times, yes but not a jerk.

'Xialon Showdown' was a poor man's imatation of 'Jackie Chan Adventures' and everyone knows it! XD

Though I will agree that the ridculious, unnecessary Scrapppy-Doo focus on Jade KILLED seasons three and up. Tarnishing what was suprising a preety good show.

Hey, Bonkers rocked. Unless you count the short cartoons they released that showcased his Hollywood "career". Those just show why he became a cop :)

I miss Bonkers. I think Disney need to dump those eps on a cheap DVD set, just for me.

Didn't Bonkers start production as a Roger Rabbit series but they couldn't secure the rights? Then they changed just enough to not get sued, but you can still get Toontown vibes (specially in the Lucky eps) I woulda been very p-p-p-pleased if they'd been allowed the go ahead for the original idea, but as it stands Bonkers wasn't terrible just less than it coulda been. Because Who Framed Roger Rabbit PWNS all.
And Max was fine in A Goofy Movie, it's the sequel I hate with a firey passion.

How was it an imitation? Other then the two shows finding artifacts against evil, there's a lot of differences that sets them apart.

Agreed, the rest of the season grew asisine because Jade (and the rest) as well as the entire show's concept remained the same throughout. My attention span lost interest (though being a Jackie Chan fan do I admit to struggling to watch the entire thing to the end).

Although I agree with the low quality of Transformers in recent years, I still want to know if the author was doing crazy stuff when he wrote that list and how do I get some of it

Main villian taking orders by an evil demon who wants said ojects of power for his/herself, using the help of said powers to battle evil.

They are other instances where they differ, but the general vibe of the show was just that... A poor man's JCA

Then again. Xialon Showdown isn't THAT bad, I mean they are worse... Jake Long, anyone?

Sorry, Rayzor, but I don't like Jake Long or Ben 10.

Jake's street talk is very, very bad, and the rest of the show is even worse. As for Ben 10, it just doesn't appeal to me.

I think I'd like to stick Sonic Underground on the list of bad cartoons. I don't mind Jaleel White's voice, but when voicing all three of the main characters, it was just too annoying. And besides the hedgies, all the other character designs were ugly. Knuckles sounded like a complete wuss, Athair sounded like the Snowman from Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Tails wasn't even in the show. Toss in the annoying songs with every episode and Sleet and Dingo's crappiness and you get one of the bad Sonic cartoons...

Second only to the Sonic X dub, that is. 🙂

There was a new show that came out a while ago. Oh, what was
it called?... Oh yeah, Storm Hawks. That show...it's just
to sick. So WAS Robotboy, My Life As A Teenage Robot, exetra, exetra. The cartoon industry has lost it I tell you!

You're gonna have to be more detailed then that cuz' for the life of me, other then the example I stated above, I see barely any similiarities between the two.

There's nothing to be sorry about, Lady Kazekage, we all have different taste in shows. Yeah, Jake's rapper talk maybe bad, but I think the action is pretty cool in the show and think it's funny at some points. Ben 10 alien forms are pretty cool to me, but it may not be some's cup of tea.

BTW, I know that another MoFoer, Joe Edkin, happens to like Jake, at least he did the first season before the second season drastically changed the artstyle though it kept the same story.

jackie chan adventures got boring quick. same as i said about xialin showdown it had a few okay plotlines but then it just went bleh......

now if they made a show called "tony Jaa adventures." hahahaha! that'd be great.
