Season 3 of ReBoot was incredible. At the height of Liefield's era of comics, when Cable of all characters, was regarded as DANG AWESOME, that show came in and made a protagonist who was beefy, grim, gunwielding, had a robot eye--- and was actually a pretty damn interesting character with a bit of a Rodimus Prime syndrome, but was no way near as whiny.
Kudos to the writers to take an age specific cool cliche (a Poochie, if you will) and make him an awesome enough character for us to give a crap about 12 years later.
No mention of the various Half-Life epics? I'm ashamed in all of you.
