this 25th anniverary Special is a God Send, i get to see the classic 80's tutlrtles i watched as a kid & the Y2k turtles together....I think i could cry from the beauty of it all!

The live action Turtles series sucked EPICALLY. I'd rather not see/hear about it ever again. 
I'm cool with the Mirage, 80s and 2003 Turtles universes though. Oh, and all of the Turtles movie universes.

The movie's getting a theatrical release for a single night (October 29th). This movie intrigued me before, but now I am intrigued further. They clearly have some confidence in the thing if they're doing this, so hopefully it should be pretty good.

They pulled out in protest as soon as they discovered Cam Clarke was a no-show (no-voice?). It's THAT big a deal.

Hmm...well I wouldn't have been able to see it in theaters either, so this works for me. I do expect to buy this on DvD/Blu-Ray though. Cause they good and well know it better see a home release.

I'm going to guess union issues, or he didn't feel like traveling to wherever 4Kidz is based off of.
Another guess is that Cam might not be playing nice nice with 4Kidz. A LOT of VA workers do not enjoy 4K at all.
I thought they had to use all different voice actors for the original turtles because of union issues o.o

I genuinely heard old Mikey's voice. That cowabunga of his is very distinctive.
Semi-off-topic, but Nickelodeon/Viacom now own TMNT. Mirage/Eastman/Laird are out of the picture for good.
A new movie and CGI television show are set for release in 2012. I'm somewhat scared.
All things considered, Nickelodeon will probobly treat the turtles better than Laird ever did.

Nickelodeon, eh? Hmmm...this could work. Possibly. But yea that was totally Mikey's voice. Sucks Cam couldn't do Leo...it's so obvioud that it's different. =/ And yea...that movie was so slated for 2011...but release dates change. 2012 works better for me anyway...2011 was already packed to the brim with like...the greatest comic book movies ever.
I didn't watch much of the original show but Dan Green sounds out of place as Leo. And I think it was Mike Pollock as Splinter there at the end, doing his "King of Soleana" voice.
