Anybody else catch the end of that video? The monochrome world? Like maybe they go to yet ANOTHER Turtle universe, the comics one?

It's been common knowledge that the Turtles Forever includes the turtles of Mirage Comics.

Nah, that's on Saturday, remember? 😛

The BttS designs still kind of irk me; he's too angular. I wish he looked more like '03 Leo.

I agree actually. Looking back at some of the old episodes and rewatching the clip for this movie again, the newer designs of the characters just look really off.

Wasn't as great as I was hoping, but I thought it was pretty good. Like gammarallyson said, not enough music from the 80's Turtles.

I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING OF THE SORT!!! :0

I certainly didn't mentioned that in the spoiler tag I put up there, which is there because I didn't want to spoil anything for those who still (for some reason) haven't seen it. Not me! I only said that it was good, nothing about music or 80's or any stuff like that, especially in that spoiler tag. The spoiler tag in which is there so that no one will be spoiled when clicking no this thread, nope nope. Not me.

Not me I say...

Nope... NOT me..

Hour and a half?! Dang! Well...I missed a goodbit. But yea...we've got like three more times to see it.

Actually, they are splitting the movie into three half hour segments for the next three weeks. Some content will be cut in order to make it fit into 30 minutes. You're better off seeing it via... uh, other means.

EDIT: Why did Yuku make my post look like I pressed the Enter Key 3 times? *flails*

This turned out a lot better than I would have expected. When it comes right down to it it smacks of great respect for Eastman and Laird's creation, plus a little ribbing at how it "sold out" by transforming a very gritty serial comic and turning it into kiddiefare in the late '80s. But that's the version many of us are most familiar with, and even the 2K3 Turtles are admonished by Splinter for making fun of them... and then later they get the same treatment from the Mirage Turtles.

And I don't think anyone could have asked for a better ending:

"I just hope people like it."

That thing was... amazing. It was so cheesy and awesome at the same time, and competent turtles v incompetent turtles was insane, especially with new-Mikey getting along with them at first...

Ohhh man. It was great. I thought it was really well done, I just wish they hadn't have made ALL the 80's/90's a bunch of goof ball... I remember Leonardo and Donatello being at least somewhat smart. And quazi-serious.

What I loved most was how the turtles were all juxtaposed against each other. Probably came out better than I could have hoped. I was expecting worse.

Aww, the ad I saw came off like they were reshowing the whole thing. XD I should have paid better attention. Missing the first 20 minutes, I at least got to see most of it uncut...

Every time 80's Raph broke the 4th wall, confusing everyone else on the screen I burst out laughing.

Dude just look up Turtles Forever on Youtube. It's there, trust me. I over slept last Saturday.

It's obvious the 2000 turtles are meant to be the stars but the other two dimensions get a good share attention. Also I love how the Mirage-verse Turtles are so grim and gritty that they think even the 2000 turtles are wanna be's.

"Why is he narrating? Is he crazy?"

AHH! I hate I missed so much of it. I did love those Mirage turtles though. They looked like they came straight out of the comic. Wonderful! lol They even got the super larges noses right. 😛 But man...Raph broke the 4th wall? AHH! I love when that happens. And Raph is probably my least favorite, so to see him break the 4th wall would've been a plus for him. 😛

Good news, everyone! Those of your that missed the movie have another chance to see it again.

4Kids:
About 12 minutes were cut from the version that aired this morning. A totally un-cut version will hit the website likely sometime in December.

Ahh, so they didn't show the whole thing. I remember some of the commercials show some clips that weren't in the film.

I think this is the end of the turtles though. No more stuff from 4kids at least.

EDIT : I found a TMNT wiki and they state the rights were given to Nickelodeon...strange.

I heard they were experimenting with making a CGI series. Which already makes me go "blarugarg" The only good CGI show Nick ever made was Jimmy Neutron and I don't even think that animation is good enough for something as dynamic as the Turtles. But when I think about it. If they make a new series won't they just re tell the same story? The 2003 series was basically the Mirage comic with some stuff omitted and added I'm sure. I like how the Turtles were given a variety of villians like Bishop (Who they ruined in Fast Forward) but seriously it's always going to be the shredder. Always.

So they have to do something totally out of left field like bring back Venus!

XD! Man...if Venus returned...people would freak. As for good CGI series...The Penquins of Madagascar is wonderful. Or so my friend says and i've seen a few episodes of it...it's pretty dang good. But yea...a retelling of the same story...it's weird. I suppose if they did the 80s cartoon with the Technodrome, Bebop and Rocksteady, etc...i'd so be down for it. I need to get my hands on those Dvds...they're up to like season 7 or something. :O

So i'm not sure if someone had posted this here or not...but the love for the turtles is evident...these people are pouring their hearts into something that may not ever see the light of day past the script/synopsis they've written. Check it out. http://turtlesthemovie.com/index.php

the picture of frothing bleeding Raph kind of disturbs me but they say he'd never kill anyone unless he absolutely had to. Well I don't think Raph would absolutely have to fight a group of street punks(to the death) if he could help it. I don't know the full story but since he is a ninja he could just disappear. I doubt the rest of the people in that picture are ninjas. Oh well. I guess the world does need to be rid of its violent street punks somehow. Let loose the Turtles!

Hahah yea that picture was like...alarming beyond all reason. Haha! I'm not really into the super dark and gritty TMNT to be honest. The first live action movie was basically about as dark as I wanted it to go. I like the comical turtles. No let me correct that...I LOVE the comical turtles...not the "comic" turtles. xP I've never read the comics, but I surely would like to...just to see what they're like. 80s TMNT is my favorite rendition. What're you guys favorite versions of the turtles?

Apparently the Shredder was defeated in the first issue. That's how badass the comic turtles are.
