And Why?

tyra banks is a famous tv talk show host, her show is a lot like opera's... also she stared in a few movies but was famous for playing a role in the "fresh prince" series and was a successful model. making a lot of money from her talk show she started a new show called "america's top model".

i used to love her cause like opera, dr.phile and other talk show hosts she was caring kind gave good advice and was honest.... but then she changed she started yelling at people instead of tolerating them, she began mentioning she was a model for victoria secerts in every sentance as if no one is better than her. i espacially hated her when durning america's top model she kept verbally attacking alicia who's a tomboy pretty girl (the one in the first link i added) for no reason.

if tyra was anyone i wont bother but when a popular talk show hostess starts yelling at people on her show you know something is not right. i really think she's gone nuts, she seems to think she's better than others and knows everything.

oh and she lies now, she wont admit she whitened her skin, i'm tan so i know how lots of women do that espacially asians and blacks, i seen girls use creams and pills to make their skin lighter i know tyra did, and during a topic in her show about dark skinned girls not accepting themselves (which was a super sensitive topic) she let everyone down by saying she's naturally light. we all seen her pics when she was younger she's giving a bad message to young girls.

lots of people are very nice and trust her opinion, she's pretty and i saw her being very sweet and caring to others. but she judges people and is being unresponsible for the fame and popularity she has.

anyway this is how i feel about her, and i wish she'd notice and stop being stuck up. she needs to step back down to earth and be her old self. i really think the success went to her head. i really want to love and respect her again. >_<  

It's a common problem for many celebrities: once they get any degree of popularity or influence, or at least as they think so, they become irresponsible and think themselves above "normal" people.  And in some ways the media that records their exploits encourages this so that they can get more money from those who crave any news on the latest celebrity fallout.  So it becomes a circular problem, sometimes with a downward spiral until a celebrity is finally flung off into the depths of obscurity and their fans find other idols to consume news about.

It's easy to lose your head when you have enough money or job security to keep you from worrying about your future.  But the public's willingness to throw money at poor role models is as much a problem as the celebrities themselves when they step out of line.

Like most celebrities, if you don't look at them, they disappear, because they are not real. They are merely the rendering of our own egos in physical forms, like congealed bacon fat. My advice would be if you do not like her, then excise her from your life the way you might lance a boil on your toe.

Yea actually...Tyra started as a professional model. She should've probably just stuck with being silent when in front of the camera, but like so many celebrities...they like to do it all. I'm sure she's put out an album or two as well. >.>

srol that "dont look at them and they'll disappear" thing reminded me of one of the simpsons episodes with those giant destructive billboard characters coming to life XD
but i do get what you mean and what others said, i guess that's the truth but it hurts when they turn out sweet and awsome like britney spears then ruin it all like her.. she really let herself go down, i cant even listen to her songs anymore
