But yes, wow, I was actually expecting Sonic not to show up, so this came as a surprise. But then again, they did mention they wanted to put him into a SSB game, and it really was inevitable that he should be in it.

Anyway! I was thinking Sonic would be the most likely 3rd party character that isn't Snake to appear in Brawl, what with that Olympic game coming out and all. I didn't really bother to expect him to be in though - the Olympic game maybe as a consolation prize? When I opened up the Dojo this morning, I didn't believe my eyes at first, but this is totally super cool.
Now it's Megaman's turn.
Awesome! Still not enough to make me buy a Wii, but if this helps get Sonic back on the right track, I'm happy.

This is the first forum I was ever dedicated to visiting, and though I'm not nearly as frequent as I was seven years ago, I still consider everyone here my one true internet family.

I can't say specifically what I found out, but assuming that everything I was told makes it into the final Brawl release, I'm 100% positive that everyone on this forum will Sonicgasm HARD. Three days ago was just the kickoff. o_o; I advise gathering things now to clean blood off your monitor later, if you guys end up having a reaction anywhere close to the intensity of mine.

The only insider knowledge I have is of one returning character, one new character, how big the total character roster is, Sonic's level, and the music that comes with him. Everything Sonic-related in Brawl is...just...gah, I can't even describe how awesome it is. It's unreal. It still feels unreal. Our wildest dreams and more. x_x

Actually, it doesn't look that big, from what I've seen as far as impressions go. Unless it's just the build, or if they already have the unlockable characters hidden on the select screen, I wouldn't know.

You can slip out the returning character, right? I mean, c'mon, he's y'know, returning. So who cares? It won't be special. Or hell, WHY was it delayed? Was it because the tremendous amounts of AAA games coming out before '08? (Counting on my list, there are a total of $780 or so worth of games to buy by the last big release in '07, both AAA titles and the niche games aka Katamari, Phoenix Wright, SFII HD Remix, etc... yikes).
