I've been dating this girl for about 3 months (never told the Mofo, cause didn't want to deal with "Who wants to date you" plus like I don't feel the need to make a post on a internet forum about getting a g/f, ya know?) anyway last Thursday she told me shes 2 months pregnant...

So I really need to like grow up, and get away from the "internet life" I'm living, to provide for her and my child, I'll be around but expect to see even less of me than I'm already am...

At 21, this is a big change in my life, and i need to really look at my future now, I'm thinking the right thing I need to do is propose....but i dunno yet. No more freedom, no more relaxation. No more video games!

I told my mother about me becoming a father during lunch (We went to Chick-Fa-Lay)

AShe then looked at me. lmost like she was sad or something, and said "I am very disappointed." Of course we all know thats the worst when you get the "I'm not mad, I'm disappointed" speech, that I'm not ready, I need to finish school, the mother is still in college. So I considered that me and my girl should not go through with it, but my mom was old school.

To make matters worse, she still feels like she controls me so, she said you're moving in with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air i whisted for a cab and when it came near
the license plate said fresh and had dice in the mirror
If anything i could say that this cab was rare but I thought nah, forget it yo home to Bel-air! I-pulled- up tp a house about seven or eight i yelled to the cabbie yo home, smell you later looked at my kingdom i was finally there to sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel-air

*sigh*

Wow...I am very sorry. No more video games...that means...no more no more heroes. =(

Alright on a serious note though...it is good that you are willing to provide for her and the child. Putting on the big boy britches I see. Time to become a man, because you know what they say...any man can make a baby[give or take], but it takes a man to raise one. Or something like that. Being 19...I hope to God I don't have to settle down[and quit video games] at 21. In two years...my goodness, think of the sweet games that'll be out. xP Actually..i'm hoping to never get married or anything to be honest. I guess you could say that's really selfish, not wanting to raise a family and take care of someone other than myself, but in all honesty I don't ever see myself being that responsible or even fortunate to find a life partner, but i'll stop now because most of that belongs in the Marble Garden Forum. =/

I know what you mean about the "I'm very disappointed in you..." speech though. I hate those things. But hey man i'm sure you'll make a great father, and be sure to keep your consoles so when your kid is like 4 or 5 you can introduce him/her to the old school ways of gaming. *shot*

Good luck to you sir. *shakes hand*

I am so +#%%%!% sick of this kind of %#$* it's not even funny. Same +#%%%!% story time after time: "Oh hey guyz guess what I'm 21 and I'm a father go me welp time to get responsible up in this hurr hurr".

Jesus +#%%%!% Christ, man.

Are you proud of yourself? Do you even know what you've done? What is it with you young people getting yourselves screwed over before you even finish with school?

God I'm so pissed off right now.

You have no means to support this new child, you think we're supposed to be happy for you? How dare you. Knowingly bringing a new life into this world when you don't even know what the hell you're going to be doing with yourself is the greatest +#%%%!% tragedy since Roe vs. Wade. And your girlfriend? Oh, I bet she's all gung-ho about this, am I right? Same +#%%%!% story, women constantly treating this as some kind of earthly miracle, a gift straight from God when they know (or should know) damn well that here's a story, of a lovely lady. Who was bringing up three very lovely girls. All of them had hair of gold, like their mother, the youngest one in curls. Here's a story, of a man named Brady, who was busy with three boys of his own. They were four men, living all together yet they were all alone. 'Till the one day when the lady met this fellow, and they knew it was much more than a hunch. That this group would somehow form a family. That's the way we all became the Brady Bunch. The Brady Bunch, that's the way we all became the Brady Bunch.

And that's all I've got to say about that. !+%!!

I don't think Psx would Rickroll us like that, I think he's really pissed...y

and I'm on the same boat. Honestly, while your intentions sound sane and good right now, theres no possible way I can say "congrats" to you when you don't know the true rigors of having a kid AND dealing with a real life outside of college. I'm 25 and STILL having a tough time managing my G/f and Video games and work<--IN THAT ORDER. Don't get it twisted.

I'm not going to say you can't do it, but I'm not gonna say congrats :o.

*sigh* I don't have a song to put a-oh yes I do. Since you are going to stay and help to raise this new life into this world, all I can hope is that you move on up. To the East side. To a deluxe apartment, in the sky. Oh we're moving on up(movin' on up). To the East Side(moving on up). You've finally got a piece of the PiE.

Wow, what a jerk you are. I actually believed it, even after the Bell-Aire'd, because of the *sigh*, which effectively portrayed you still are conflicted with this. I thought you were just trying to lighten up a serious topic.

Yeah, I did too at first.

I think what pisses me off more is that we have a member of the community who is actually going through this kind of stuff right now. It's great that you think this is a LOL kind of matter, but there are people dealing with this kind of crap. Way to be an insensitive jerk.

Yeah, I know. I am a such a demon. Ooooh, I'm going to Hell. I just play a small prank and everyone's up in arms. Let's ignore the fact that there much worse pranks of people who are ACTUALLY insensitive. After all, I knew there was a Mofo member who's going through this..... OH WAIT, no I didn't! Nice ASSumption.

And of course, you guys aren't hypocrites. Oh no, you two are the prime epitome of purity and holiness. I must bow down to you two. *bows* I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy.

I'll just take my one way ticket to Hell now. And as my mom would always "Heading on up to South Park gonna myself a time. Friendly faces everywhere. Humble folks without temptation. Heading up on to South Park gonna have myself a time. Ample parking day or night. People spouting 'Howdy neighbor!' I'm heading up on to South Park gonna see if I can't unwind..... (censored censored censored censored censored censored censored) So come on out to South Park and meet some friends of mine!"

You guys are taking this way too seriously. What the hell is going on in the MoFo? A subtle suckosity has been building up and people are flaming each other. This is because people emphasize authority and they ask a moderator to do everything, without being tactful themselves. You should be able to resolve things, with everybody moderating discussions. Let me tell you who does it the proper way. Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed, Then one day he was shootin at some food, And up through the ground came a bubblin crude. Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea. Well the first thing you know ol Jed's a millionaire, Kinfolk said "Jed move away from there" Said "Californy is the place you ought to be" So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly. Hills, that is. Swimmin pools, movie stars. Well now its time to say good by to Jed and all his kin. And they would like to thank you folks fer kindly droppin in. You're all invited back a gain to this locality To have a heapin helpin of their hospitality Hillybilly that is. Set a spell, Take your shoes off. Y'all come back now, y'hear?. That's why we need to revamp the rules, and get a whole new system of directors and other creative positions of the forum staff, rather than the traditional administrators and moderators.

The ironic thing out of all of this is that I make a harmless (albeit unfunny) joke and people think I'm being insensitive. Someone actually tries to emotionally harm me and no one ever cares or they laugh at it. >_>

And besides, I didn't know that someone here was becoming a premarital parent. No one here tells me anything. I'm not here 24/7. And they have the nerve to think I'm just belittling someone?
Oh well, I'm sorry for offending someone even though that clearly wasn't the purpose.

as regrettable as it is that people took you seriously when you didn't mean any harm, i can understand where they're coming from. the person that hiro refers to is someone that he cares about quite a bit - although he can overreact when someone makes a joke at her expense, i can see why he might get upset. and when it takes that long to realize you were joking, one can't help but feel a little pissed off. i can't speak for ttg, but if he had realized you were joking right at the end of the first post, i think he might not have gotten as upset either.

still, vec was right before he launched into song, we really don't need this much hostility. v2 failed at making a joke that people would get; we move on. contrary to popular belief, we really don't have to get all serious like this whenever someone makes an unorthodox joke. in conclusion,

....I can't resist exacto-facto'ing here.

The words are:
I'm goin' down to South Park, gonna have myself a time
Friendly faces everywhere, humble folks without temptation
Goin' down to South Park, gonna leave my woes behind
Ample parking day or night, people spouting, "Howdy neighbor!"
Headin' on out to South Park, gonna see if I can't unwind
(something dirty that changes every couple seasons)
So come on down to South Park and meet some friends of mine

(Memo to myself: Keep track of old sitcom intros.)

My English professor last semester thought we'd be too young to understand her "story about a man named Jed" line.

On topic: I remember someone Bel-Air'ing the forum maybe a year or two ago.

Wait, how does this attack people who are expecting, exactly?

To be fair, I didn't read the last part, either, then I saw all the posts immediatley following and was like, "Holy crap, he's gonna be a father." When I realized the joke, it wasn't the funniest thing in the world, but I was somewhat amused.

And, AR, that was probably the same person, he's donet his before.

Oo

I was away in Colorado for the weekend (yeah passed right through South park ^^) and when I came in here I saw the topic...

First reaction: Wow, he's gonna be a dad... screwed up but s did most of my family and friends.

Second reaction: What the hell? He finishes up with the song to Fresh Prince? Cool *Sing along*

Third Reaction: He's either joking or it was real and he's trying to make the best of it.

Fourth Reaction: Woooooow MoFo doesn't like the topic... I think it's definitely a joke.

Fifth reaction: Ohhh I get it now. haha
