not knowing how much a voice actor is normally paid episode, but it seems to they were asking for too much. but surely the company has made enough cash from selling DVDs and other products to be able to pay the voice actors? >>;
So thats the reason Family Guy only hires Seth MacFarlene and Alex Bornstien to voice everyone...
Also, as much as I love the Futurama guys, $75,000 each per episode... am I the only one who can understand Fox on this?
Considering like the Hollywood's writer strike where the writers are grossly overpaid and still wanted more, it is possible. We'll see.
either that girl is slightly cross-eyed, or those are eyes painted on her eyelids. o-o;

Yes, you're the only one.
Fox is a bag of jerks. Always and forever.
Sounds like chump change compared to what the Simpsons VA's get per episode ($400k).

lol. Also $400k per episode for the Simpsons guys? I'll do the whole cast for half that.

makes you wonder how they afford that, i mean the dvd sales can't be THAT good.
I take it that Syndication plays into that shows wealth as well.
It IS the Simpsons after all. Even though that does seem pretty high.
Futurama seems to be more of a niche show, correct me if I'm wrong people.
I've always considered Futurama to be sorta like a 'futuristic' version of The Simpsons. Bender is basically Homer if Homer was a robot, Fry is kinda like Bart and Leela is similar to Lisa/Marge. Either way, both are good shows but ultimately overall:
Simpsons > Futurama (even though most recent eps of The Simpsons have sucked, of course)
