lol 🙂
"Battery" ~ Metallica
My Rancid playlist, currently on "Red Hot Moon."
I was just listening to Sum 41's All Killer No Filler yesterday for the first time in a year, and I'm like "OMG this actually sucks." Considering Sum 41 used to be my favorite band... The only Sum I can stand anymore is a couple of tracks off Does This Look Infected? and the entirety of Chuck, which is actually pretty good.
Although "Grab the Devil by the Horns and F*** him up the Ass" from Half Hour of Power is pretty good, especially since the rest of Half Hour is complete and utter garbage.
"In Too Deep" by Sum41
That's what she said! Hur hur hur
Calm Like A Bomb//Rage Against the Machine
I absolutely love the bass in the begining. I must learn it.

(poins to the Halo Soundtrack and Halo 2 Soundtrack Vol. 1) Marty O'Donell (composer for Bungie Studios) is awesome. He really knows how to mix ambience and atmosphere into his music.
And 'Blow Me Away' was good too.
"Waiting for your love" ~ Toto
I've also been listening and watching Toto's music videos, I'm having real difficulty getting the last few though. Oh well, I have the best one's so I'm happy. n.n
Radiohead's Kid A album, which is surprisingly pretty good. Currently on "Idiotesque," my favorite song on the CD besides "Everything in Its Right Place."

Anyway, currently it's "Just Like Heaven" by The Cure. Show me show me show me how you do that trick... <3
"Youth of the Nation" by Payable on Death (PoD)
Never heard the Cure myself, any good?
The Cure are considered to be the first "goth" band to hit it big, although they're not limited to any one genre. Most of their more notable work is on their Disintegration album, which is arguably one of the greatest albums of all time. Their lyrics usually resemble poetry, although sometimes they'll have a very nonsensical song like their infamous "Why Can't I Be You?" single. From jazz to rock'n'roll to mellow electronica to the use of entire symphonies, The Cure does almost everything. Most people don't like them because their singer is very accent-heavy and usually sounds like he's moaning, but it works well with what they do.
Although I usually don't mention favorite bands of mine, The Cure is right up at the top.
Mama Said Knock You Out// LL Cool Jay
Flat out, the only two rap groups Iliek are NWA and public enemy. That said I only got this because it was mentioned on Fresh Prince. I dont like the song, but the chorus is pretty catchy, and I'll prolly end up saying "Mama Said Knock You Out" Regularly, because thats the kinda guy I am.
Driver's High from the GTO anime.
It's particularly cool watching Cycle's photo avvy and everytime the dude smacks his head against the keyboard the music goes 'Crash!'
Elvis singing Love Me Tender.

Oh and a lot of Weezer too.
Various Ramones, Sex Pistols, and Clash snippits off Amazon. I'm thinking of trading in my Bowling for Soup, Sum 41 and Weird Al CDs (e.g. all the crappy music) in for some REAL punk at Wherehouse Music.
"Real" punk, eh? I went through a pretentious punk phase when I was 16... but I'm over it now. 😉 It was fun while it lasted, though.
Anyway, currently I'm listening to Everything Goes Numb by Streetlight Manifesto.

And punk music isn't crappy? The appeal of punk isn't the music, it's what the music is saying. Punk music is not hard to play. It's very simple and most of it sounds almost exactly alike. People just listen to punk to try to be rebels or to piss of their parents.
Also, Bowling for Soup makes fun of punk constantly, and Sum41 have said more than once that they hate to be called a punk band.
And how the hell does Weird Al qualify as punk? Elaborate.
And currently, "Punk Rock 101" by Bowling for Soup. Which is deliberately making fun of punk rock.
EDIT: CLICK HERE
Wesu: Lmao. The Sex Pistols were terrible. I do like the Ramones and the Clash, though.
Punk is dead, and the world would be much better off if all the modern wannabes would come to that conclusion. It took me about a year, but I finally caught on.
