It's that time of year again! The dreaded Final Exams: the pinnacle of stress for a student.

So how about the rest of you? Who's all prepping for their finals? I have one each day until Thursday. All but one are at 3:00 in the afternoon. The one tomorrow is at noon.

I've never been so happy that I graduated last year as when other people have exams. =D

Actually, this semester is such a cluster of assignments that exams will be little more than an afterthought. Just to demonstrate how taxed I am on imperative dates, an excerpt from my planner:

12 - 14 April: work on third Megan's Law paper
15 April: art history class field trip to Met/Onassis Centre in NYC
16 April: finish third ML paper; prepare 180 lines from Petronius's Satyricon; read Seneca's Thyestes
17 April: turn in third ML paper; Latin test
18 April: day of rest for birthday
19 - 21 April: work on Western Political Philosophy paper
22 April: prepare art history presentation
23 April: make art history presentation; start research for art history paper
24 - 29 April: finish art history paper
27 April: prepare and present on Sarah's Law for class
30 April: turn in art history paper; start Sarah's Law paper

You get the idea. Probably the worst exam time I'll have is my art history one at 7.30 am, but again as I said, I'm more concerned about getting that far, what with the sudden inundation of deadlines hanging over my head like I'm in The Pit and the Pendulum.

As I have already failed my Art foundation course - a mixture of intense dislike of the course and my trademark proscrastination caused me to miss a mandatory deadline - I have no exams to worry about. And you know what? I'm pretty happy I don't. I'm happy helping Mum around the house and working. I didn't want to continue afterwards anyway.

😀

I'm finding it really hard to like you at this point of time, Crim.

I can sympathize, Rapid. College teachers are hateful.

Hooray for me for picking a university course that has no exams. Fine Art FTW.

For me, finals don't start until the week of May 18th =( ...probably the latest I have gone into May while in college.

It's my Senior year though!!!!... but I'm coming back for a 5th =(

Anyways, I have my Sociology 100 final on Monday night (probably my favorite class of the semester. Teacher is really awesome, very relaxed class. He also starts out with a Jay Leno like monologue)

My Control Systems and Automation class will have its final on Tuesday. Guessing it will be all, or at least mostly, take home . The MEs find the class difficult, while most of us EEs find it extremely simple My partner and I already have our lab done 3 weeks early so

My stupid, waste of time and effort History of the Modern World class has our essay final on Wednesday. Honestly the most boring class I've taken during my 4 years. It consists of the old timer prof standing in front of our class and lecturing in a monotonous tone for an hour... Quizzes have nothing to do with his lectures, and are instead consist of insignificant details from the textbook. I took an exam today for the class. He gave us a study guide with 33 questions that he might put on the exam... out of the 33 he chose 4, and we had to write on 2 >=|

Finally comes Electromagnetic Fields and Waves, also on Wednesday. This is probably the hardest undergrad class an EE will take a my uni. This test will be a take home.

So yeah, funtiems.

Rapidfire, I do not envy you with your Art History class. At least at my uni, it was a huge waste of time. I would end up writing my papers a couple of hours before they were due, and I'd still get Bs and As on them. Also, it could have used a little more Renoir, and less of the other guys.

Aw yeah, dude! I'm with ya on that one! *downs a can of Red Bull* Anyway, couldn't care less for the course I'm currently doing. Hell, I even plan to drop out of it the moment I find a decent full-time job for myself.

Funny, that. In the midst of feverishly composing my art history paper last night, I had just a wee bit more stress added to my week.

My computer gave me the Blue Screen of Death. My throat is still sore from howling with rage.

Oh dear. My finals loom ahead in less than two weeks. A couple of them aren't cumulative so I'm happy. I think the others are. Two of them are for online classes, so it's only sliiiightly better. D:

**raises a Red Bull** Cheers. Although I recommend sticking with the education; a full-time job with no specialization can only go so far.

*raises his own can of Red Bull* Cheers to you too. As for your recommendation, nah, I've already got a diploma from a previous course that I've studied and completed. It's just that this course I'm currently doing is bulls**t, so I'll use my diploma to get a decent full-time job for myself.
