I spent under $30 to fill my car this evening
The gas stations around me are selling gas for $2.29/gal... and one of the local stations has $.10 off coupons
So yeah, how much is gas where you are?
Yeah I noticed people stopped complaining about gas prices now that the entire economy is in the gutter 😮
Dunno if it's because prices or lower or if it's because it's not as big of a problem
Or maybe the two things are related
Oh and Aw I thought you were gonna say me
Prices of petrol in UKland is now back under £1 a litre in some places, diesel under £1.10 again.
So yeah it's the cost that's gone down. I don't know why but I'm glad.
Also over here, when the petrol prices were really high, Sainsburys (supermarket chain for those who don't know) did a deal where you got... I think 5p a litre off if you spent over £50 instore. It's pretty easy to spend £50 when you're doing your weekly family shop as well so it was pretty useful. I think it's also a on-off thing as well so it could come up again in the future?
Yes I work for them I'm allowed to plug.
Heh @ Susan. I know at least one of the grocery chains here did the same thing. $0.01 for every $10 spent.
It's still $3 a gallon in the Four Corners =(
Petrol smells nice.
Heck yea! It cost me $34 to fill up. Amazingness!
For the past week, gas has been around $2.75-2.95 on average, depending on the roads you're on and what station it is. $2.29 is a distant dream, but it sure as heck beats the $4+ I spent maybe two weeks ago.
I like spending $20 on gas 😀

IT'S STILL TOO MUCH FOR ME!
But yeah, like $2.69 is the lowest now I think. I fill up with 89 octane though, so just under $3 a gallon most places still.
$2.56 and dropping around me.
Mid-$2 range around North Atlanta, which is odd considering how the last major hurricane caused the area to literally run out of gasoline. As in, government institutions, such as schools, couldn't even get gas.
Yeah, every Thursday I panic, as that was the day gas usually went up... only to wake up Friday to prices LOWER than I paid the night before >=|
Too bad they didn't do this back when I was driving 70 miles a day. I really resented paying £40+ to fill up my tank. But I haven't needed to drive far for months so I can't actually remember the last time I filled up. August sometime?

a shame you all couldn't fill up at this place - http://apnews.myway.com/a...e/20081024/D940RF400.html
59 cents a gallon is a bit of a bargain. :p
You know what's awesome?
Me?
