When this year comes around... How will you say it?

Two thousand and 10? Or twenty-ten?

Twenty-ten because it sounds more futuristic.

I'm going to say it as "2010", but I know quite a few people who call it "2010" instead.

Probably twenty-ten. Two thousand and ten is too wordy for my lowbrow beingness.

There will never be flying cars, even if we could produce them. Can you imagine how horrible the traffic would be?

Hovering cars, on the other hand...

Twenty-ten will never happen. Iran will nuke the world into oblivion - STARTING WITH ATLANTA - by at least 2008. 2009 if the UN finally acknowledges that Iran could be a threat.

Two thousand ten is how I'd say it. No "and."

Would that be the "Tenties?" Must we all go camping?

I'm holding out for 2012 before I start saying twenty something, that sounds the most futurey.

Twenty ten.

Though at my job they'll probably have me say it in some other way, like two dub de dub one oh oh.

Twenty-ten sounds fine, but it'd be two-thousand-[and]-eleven. Twenty-eleven sounds odd. Then twenty-twelve through twenty-ninety-nine. Two-thousand-[and]-ten just sounds unnatural though.

I'd say "Twenty-ten." I'll probably be more likely to say "two thousand ten" (without the "and"), though.

*Narrows brow and tries to work out a decent way to make a Twenty-One-Twelve reference*

...

...screw it. I don't need wit. 2112!

Two-Thousand-Ten

We've gotten used to the cumbersome "thousand" addition to our year's name.

So, under that logic, can I call 2010 "Reign in Blood"?

Only one thing will decide what the new decade will be called, and that's... Madden NFL 2010.

Me, personally, I think I'll go "Oh-Ten". =3
