After the happy news I shared today, gotta ask for something on a more serious note, too, since I can't sleep from thinking about it.
In 4 1/2 hours from the time I type this, my wife Andrea has to go into the hospital for some minor surgery. She has been suffering from chronic blockages in her sinus cavities for a couple years now. They have caused her extreme headaches, more colds and infections than she'd like to count, plus cut off her breathing at night to the point where she's out like a light at 10:00 or close to it.
She's really scared, but I'm here for her. Just asking for a prayer or two to the deity of your choice (happy deities, at least). I'll let you know how it all goes.

Here's an update on Andrea, as promised:
She got home today at around 2:30, 9 hours after going in. The surgery went mostly well. She suffered an asthma attack, however, which slightly complicated things and required her to spend a little extra time in recovery. She is resting well next to me, dealing with some nose-bleeding, but otherwise fine.
She'll be in her current state for this week, then she'll get re-evaluated next week. We thank you guys who checked in to wish her well.
