Not to mention in the first movie, it kicked some serious butt.

You're kidding?
Mew couldn't even beat a mere IMITATION.
Then, I guess neither could Shadow, but eh.

Look at him fight and try to tell me it's not beautiful.

It actually isn't. Mewtwo's fighting is actually sort of akward-looking as far as special attacks and what not.
Compare him with Prince Marth, who moves fluidly and fights beautifully.

:lol

Anyhow, as to Mewtwo...well, all I have to say is that he's a Pokemon powerhouse who can steamroll over anyone who gets in his way. With all that superpower, who needs looks? :cuckoo

The fact that it was a small little thing and had so much powers garners much respect from me. Even more so when Mew was the first one in the entire friggin' movie to actually hurt friggin' Mewtwo.

Mew? Imitation? Mewtwo is a heavily experimented on mew.

That's what I said:
Mew couldn't beat an imitation (clone) of itself.

Well, the hair of a Mew, anyway.

I've heard it was either a rib or an eyebrow ridge that supplied Mew's DNA. They got it from a hair in the games, right?

No, it was in the first Pokemon movie. They cloned Mewtwo from a fossilized strand of Mew's hair.

You know, you could replace Govani and Persian with Mewtwo and Mew, and it would look perfectly normal, but somewhat cuter.

Why? Because Mewtwo had the same personality as govani, If just a slight bit less taking-over-the-world-ness.

And about SSBM, What really kills you is when mewtwo does his charge ball attack, and holds it. You can't meele attack him without getting shot, and if you try to shoot him, he can quickly, VERY QUICKLY, dodge backwards and jump.

...or just throw the thing at you and jump, but that's slightly slower.

I find it too akward to actually hit someone with the damn thing. And I actually rarely get hit by it when playing it with others or with maxed bots.

I lourve his shadow ball attack. I usually have more luck popping off a few small ones from the side when no one's paying attention, and they pretty much always hit one of the other players.

...Whoa. I just reread what I wrote, and cracked up laughing.

Has this become a SSBM discussion?

Oh well.

Mewtwo's air time in the game is one of the best around (only bested by Samus', IMO). Plus, when he holds a weapon, it's entertaining to see him attack; it's like he uses the Force. 😛

And Shoe, you've got a PM.
