Okay, so about twelve years ago, I was in third grade and living in Switzerland. It seems like an eternity now, but most of my memories of Switzerland are tied to what I watched on television? Why? Because the TV spoke my language: English. The Swiss only spoke German, French, Italian and Cleaning.

My family had a special satelite dish installed in our apartment that would let us pick up TV stations from England, Germany and France. The French channels were fun because they had reality TV shows before America knew what reality TV shows were, like this one show where the contestants had to go threw this old castle and go through obstacle courses and eat bugs. Sorta like Fear Factor only there was a castle and an old guy dressed as a wizard.

But I digress.

There was a show that I used to watch all the time on an English station that I think was called TCC The Children's Channel or something. It was an animated TV show that if memory serves was done in a sorta computerish rendering. Like early cel shading. Anyway, I remember little about this show other than that the main characters were a bear, a rabbit and a ghost who were flying about the world looking for something. Other than that, the only coherent memory I have are the lyrics to the theme song.

On the Island of the Bears
There is a rabbit and a ghost
there is a rabbit and a ghost
on the island of the bears

That doesn't tell me much more than what I already said. I've tried wikipedia and google and have come up empty, so if anyone else remembers this show and can help fill in the holes in my rusty think-can, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Seems to be a show called Island of The Bears. Never saw it, though I loved TCC when it was on. They aired Sonic, Earthworm Jim and quite a number of awesome things.

That doesn't tell me much more than I already know, but at least I can rest secure in knowing that I didn't make it up.
